–– a scream of agony echoed outside in a rush, widening my eyes in realization and grabbed my attention fully, putting down the tray of food down on the floor

"w-what's that..!?" mikan squealed fearfully, jumping back to the side, her eyes displayed slight fear from the scream

I smiled towards mikan and chuckled, "it was a scream, mikan. and it seems like our victim has fallen" my smile widened with thrilling excitement, standing up while rushing towards the door

"i-i know it's a scream..! but, but, but! the person... who..." she shouted out loud, pulling her hair in frustration while muttering strings of fear, it was clear who exactly died from that certain scream.

"sonia..." I mumbled, reaching towards the doorknob and opened the door wide open, viewing few ultimates rushing towards the source of the terrifying scream that occured just earlier

I knew it was a very very, veeeery bad thing... hm, I wonder how she died..?

I thought, without hesitation, walking towards the direction of it

–– I fluttered my eyes open, slowly turning my head towards mikan who clearly was sobbing in fear

"mikan...? urgh..." I rubbed my eyes, groaning from the peaceful slumber I had a while ago, but now, my attention was being grabbed by mikan's sobs and mutters going all around the place

"y––y/n! i-it's... it's! murder...!" mikan bursted in tears after informing that which I widened my eyes in shock, immediately standing up from the words mikan blurted out

in instance, i rushed towards the door, not realizing my injured arm that hasn't recovered much, the pain rushed towards my body, it hurted, but who the hell killed this someone!?

with that thought it mind, I ignored mikan's cries who was telling me to sit down, noticing the trail of unnoticeable dust laying on top of the path made by wood

I crouched down to see where it led to, seemingly going towards sonia's cottage, my eyes widened on the sight of people rushing in sonia's cottage in panic

listening to the shouts and calls... for sonia.

"shit! s-sonia!" i ran fastly as I can to the direction of her cottage, I could feel tears exiting my eyes, it was terrifying to even imagine someone had died over this game

especially, it was a classmate who i was trying to get close to.

"f––fuck!" I muttered, placing my hand to the bandage wrapping my injury for support, it hurt like hell, but it was uncontrollable

but soon after, I arrived right at the scene, my eyes widened in disbelief, the unfamiliar smell spread out towards the room, the scene of a dead body laid upon me

"y/n!? what are you doing here!?"

I ignored those small concerns, my attention was only on sonia's corpse, the crimson liquid was widening each second, the body of sonia nevermind was found.
