Jet and I went throughout the week just talking about what we would do to Mattheo so that we wouldn't arouse suspicion.

Hogwarts was still hot because of the elder wand accident even though it was well into March. I guess I did a good job stealing it.

Not a day passed where I wouldn't think about getting revenge, I was growing impatient knowing that everyday Mattheo was still alive.

He taunted me.

I went to sleep in hopes of drowning these thoughts, but I was awoken by Jet ushering me to follow him by grabbing my hand.

As he guided me I asked "What are you doing?" His reply was "Just trust me." I continued following him out of the common room and up the stairs leading out of the dungeons.

We walked out of the big doors of the school and made our way to the forbidden forest, I began to get worried but I didn't want to show it so I just continued to follow Jet.

As we neared the forest fog started to trickle in making the already eerie forest even worse. I moved closer to Jet grabbing his hand tighter, he didn't say a word just kept walking.

After a couple minutes we came to a spot where there were less trees, we stopped. "Why are we here?" I asked Jet trying the best I could to hide my shaking voice, it was so cold. He didn't say anything and didn't even look at me.

"Jet?.." I tapped his should and he turned around, I gasped and started backing up. Mattheo had been the one to reply. "Hello darling," he said as he started towards me, I tripped over a root in the ground and fell back, I tried getting away but it was like my legs no longer worked. I back up into a tree and Mattheo neared me.

"Please Mattheo.." I stuttered we were now face to face. "Shhh..." he put his finger over my lips as I trembled, holding back my tears became harder as my unsteady breathing became more irregular.

I stared at his emotionless face as my eyes started to sting from the tears welling up, his finger was still in front of my lips, "Incarcerous," he said in a calm voice.

Suddenly ropes sprang out of the ground, tying my hands behind my back and my ankles together. He gently reached into my front pocket and pulled out my wand, I couldn't help but let the tears run down my face. He had failed to kill me once I doubt it would happen again.

I tried moving but it was like I was petrified, I was frozen out of fear. Mattheo stood up with my wand in his hand, he smirked "you really think you could plan to assassinate me without me figuring out?" He paused, "aw y/n, you're getting weak," his smirk suddenly faded and he pointed my wand at me.

"Avada Kadavera!"

My eyes opened and flung myself into a upright position, I could feel the coldness throughout my body. My eyes watered up, "it was just a dream, it was just a dream," I told myself in my shaky voice resting my face in my palms.

I wiped my nose on my sleeve and shivered, I pulled my blanket up over my chest and turned onto my side thinking about the nightmare.

Was trusting Jet a good idea? Was this a warning? I couldn't help but jump from thought to thought thinking about my decisions. I couldn't go on like this, letting my mind trick and taunt me. I had to put a stop to it. I looked at the clock on my bedside table, 2:36 am.

I threw on a pair of jeans, a baggy t-shirt, and a denim jacket. I had to kill Mattheo, alone. I wasn't sure if I could trust Jet anymore and I wasn't willing to take the chance that he might double cross me.

I quickly gathered my things, I tucked away my dagger into my pocket then grabbed my wand. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, I was actually doing this.
