"Oh my god" Elton tries to think of how to carry on his sentence as Corbin sighs
"Over a thousand confirmed, estimated 1600 people. We're going to do a polite investigation, no antagonising"
"Are you just telling that to yourself because I don't think any of us have ever antagonised anything" Corbin looks at Elton while the rest of us nod our heads and hum in agreement
"You know, I gotta warm Jake up. I can't go in there and be like Satan!" Elton puts his fist in the air making us all laugh
"I don't care I hail Satan anyway" Corey and I look nervous at each other before both bursting out with laughter knowing Jake is joking. It's weird, having Jake here is almost like a relief and a break from everything being so serious. Obviously I have done this kinda thing with him before with Corey, Sam and Colby so I know Jake and Corey together will be a comic relief
"This is your first time seeing Golden Gate Bridge" Elton points to Jake then Corey "you've seen it before" Elton points to me and I nod
"Came here with my ex"
"How romantic" Brandon laughs
"What is it with you and bridges and boyfriends?" Corbin laughs
"I have no clue" I sigh
"Well Elton your about to take my Golden Bridge-ginity" Jake smiles
"Ooo"
"Your going to take my Gate Bridge-ginity" Corey now joins in
"I can't wait to bridge the gap between us"
"Thank you sir, I'm excited" Jake says to Elton as I roll my eyes
"You guys are weird" I laugh. We all start to walk away, Corey lingering behind a little to turn around to see him looking at Evan
"He's so inappropriate".
As we walk closer to the bridge the boys start to mess around a little
"Who was your favourite artist growing up?" Corey asks
"Katy Perry" Corbin responds
"Micheal.... Buble. 'Cause we fuck with boobs"
"Why am I dating Corey? can someone please remind me"
"Hey I'm offended" Corey nudges me
"Girls are so attracted to him" Brandon says laughing
"I dunno about girls but ghosts, definitely" Elton laughs.
We get as close as we can, unfortunately we have to trespass a little which scares me more than the ghosts. Already I feel cold and sad because of all the spirits around us. Corey gets out the ovilus and turns it on, almost straight away we have random words come out that make no sense. Corbin turns on the REM pod. We all sit down on the ground, me next to Corey of course and also Corbin
"I feel like with ghost hunting, you need to be as comfortable as you can be. I'm very comfortable right now" jake says looking into the camera Elton is holding, Evan decided to stay behind because of the trespassing
"Is there anyone or any spirit here with us and can hear us that would like to communicate using any of these devices we have"
"I'm sorry I can't take you seriously with those gloves on" Elton comments to Corbin
"Ok fine" he starts to take them off
"He looks like a 12 year old" Jake motions to Corbin
"He looks like a 12 year old who just won his first little league game and is refusing to take off the uniform" Elton jokes
"He's like a 12 year old who just randomly brings what he just bought to school. Like he's wearing them in school and his friends are like why are you wearing those and it's because he's mom just bought them and he wants to show them off" Jake also says
"Are you glad Corbin took his gloves off?" Corey asks
"Not to dampen the mood or anything but I can feel that there's just sadness all around" I say looking around us.
Elton gets out a portal devise. He explained that it still goes through radio frequencies, but it's going backwards so we will only hear words when they goes forward
"Is there anyone here who would like to talk to us?" I ask
'This sucks' comes through 'hey' 'what's your name?' 'where is this...'
"Hi, errr thank you for saying hello" Corey says just as the REM pod goes off
'Take it off' is heard in a woman's whisper which kinda freaks me out a little
"Why are you hear, why are you at this bridge now?" Corey asks
'Hungover' 'Spiking' are both heard
"Did you jump off the bridge?" Corbin asks, we don't hear a response
"Are you stuck here because you jumped off the bridge?" we hear something come through the device which sounds like someone screaming
"What if who we are talking to didn't want to die?" I asks looking around "like we heard hungover and spiking. What if this spirit's drink was spiked while out and they were either walking home and fell off the bridge or they were pushed"
"Damn Thea" Jakes eyes widen a little. A sound of a car comes through
"Did you drive your car up here and then jump?" Corey asks
'Yup'
"Woah that was weird" Jake says
'Corey...' Corey looks at me wide eyed
"Did you hear that?" he asks me
"Yeah I did. Sounded like your name then something else, but I don't know what"
"Yeah that's what I heard"
