"So 8 people were murdered by inmates at Alcatraz. 5 men committed suicide and 15 died from natural illnesses" Elton reads off his phone
"How many all together then?" Brandon asks
"So that would be 8, 5, 15 so 28" Elton replies
"That's a lot of people" Corbins eyes widen a little
"But compare that to places we have already been to it's not actually that many" I point out
"That's true I guess but still 28 people have died here" Elton explains that the 28 people that died here aren't just from the prison, they are from the surrounding area
"So there's like a lot of different types of spirits that could be here?" Corey looks past me to my brother
"Oh 100% yes"
"I thought it was just going to be prisoners"
"No dude the history goes way beyond the prison"
"You know what's funny though. I literally don't feel like anything's around us. Like whatever's here keeps popping in and going again. Compared to the other places we've been it's quiet here"
"Well let's test this guy out and see what happens when we have one person over here with the headphones on and everyone else over there" Elton says as he gets out the portal box.
First to go up is Corey . He leans up against a wall while we sit in a group away from him. The REMpod keeps beeping as Corey sits with his hood up and eyes closed. The weird thing is, I now feel like we aren't alone
"I'm just going to spit out every word that sounds clear" Corey says and we all nod in agreement. The REMpod beeps
"Dude he's screwed" Jake laughs slightly. I nudge him and shake my head
"Don't manifest negativity" I say
"Hi" Corey speaks "Hi Elton" I look over to my brother who looks nervous as he has just set up the ovilus
"What?" Corbin's eyes widen
"Theres no way he heard that, theres no way" Elton shakes his head in disbelief
"Are you talking..." Corbin is cut off by Corey
"You must believe"
"What the fuck" I mutter under my breath. The ovilus starts spitting out words
"Hey" I then hear screams in my ears causing me to get a pain across my forehead. I groan making Elton look at me with a frown "dude that was like a bunch of people screaming"
"I heard that from over here" Brandon states
"I heard it, but for me it was like in my ears as if a group of people were screaming at me"
Corey puts the headphones on again
"Hi, look up. Do you see him? were leaving"
"Is there someone in the window above Corey?" I ask
"I'm here, hello" the ovilus says the words 'do' and 'run'
"What is going on?" Corbin says dumbfounded
"Pick me up"
"Do you want us to leave?" Corbin asks
"We are here. Help him"
"Help who? who needs help?" I ask. Corey does't say anything but the REMpod above his head starts to beep
"Yo look at this" Elton gets my attention "look, thats Corbin right there and thats Evan, but over there its bright red" Elton shows me using his thermal measuring device. Evan points the camera to film whats happening
"It's beeping" Corey says making me look at him. I realise he has taken out his headphones
"It's been doing that the whole time" I say making Corey's eyes widen. He puts the headphones back on. For a little bit it's quiet
"Must kill him" Corbin and I gasp "must kill 'em, now"
"Holy crap" I whisper
"Hurry"
'What if Corey is hearing a conversation that happened her when this place was an active prison?" I ask
"Eat me?" Corey frowns
"Thats what she said" Jake jokes, I nudge him while trying to hold back a laugh
"Are you watching Corey from the...." again Corbin is cut off
"Now. Listen to me"
"What do you want us to listen to?" Elton asks "what do you have to say?"
"I'm in pain. Kill her" the boys all look at me and I begin to get nervous
"I've just thought, this was an all men prison. You guys are all men then theres me, the only girl here"
"To be honest I'm surprised you haven't been more of a target" Elton says
"Ow" just as Corey says that the ovuils says the word 'disturb'
"Are we disturbing you?" I ask
"Listen, Elton"
"For once Corey's names is being said multiple times
