"What's up everyone and welcome back to the TFIL 25 weeks of overnight, abandoned, haunted exploration tour thing that we're doing. We are in Ohio right now and this is the infamous Ohio State Reformatory" Elton starts off his video as always. It's currently snowing so I'm huddled up to Corey to try and keep warm as Elton continues to talk to the camera and explains how someone will be blindfolded and put in a random part of the building- not scared about that one bit... note the sarcasm! "this place was basically shut down because of inhuman treatment, the prisoners won a law suit"
"We haven't even stepped one foot inside the building and I already feel the negativity and sadness coming from it" I sigh. We carry on talking to the camera about the building, just as we are about to go inside Brandon throws snow at us. I squeal feeling some of the snow fall down my back
"No fair I don't have gloves on"
"Corey! I don't have gloves either"
"You grew up in Connecticut"
"So?" Elton replies
"I'm used to it being 120 degrees. Hey" Evan throws snow at Corey causing him to have a moan (jokingly of course) "stop it Evan , I like you"
"Evan is a menace, if you hang out with Elton too long..." Brandon is cut off by Elton imitating Corey by repeating what Corey had said.
A snow ball fight starts, but me being me I had to win so I ran up to each of the boys putting snow down their coats and shirts which causes them all to squeal like little girl, of course this makes me laugh!
After they have their snowball fight, which lasts for like 20 minutes, we finally go inside where we meet Greg who is going to talk to us about the history of the place and also paranormal sightings. We start at the 3rd floor which is Greg's favourite spot for paranormal activity
"At one time this was a assistance superintendents living quarters. Back when the prison was first constructed until about 1959 superintendents and assistant superintendents and their family used to live here on the property so not only was it a prison but it was also a home" Greg tells us shocking us all that people would actually live here. Greg tells us he's seen orbs and heard voices of men. There's a slightly raised platform where Elton asks Corey if he wants to break dance up there. Of course Corey agrees and gets up pretending it's a stage
"Elton here's the thing though, you know back in the day I'm sure break dancing was a huge hit. I mean when did this place open?"
"1896" Greg answering Corey
"Give us some of that 19th century break dancing
"I've got some late 18th century dancing"
"Oh so 1700s"
"1794" Corey specifically states. The boys have a quick argument over if the 18th century was the 1700s or later. To be honest I have no clue so I stay out of this little argument
"Ok are you gonna dance or what?" I ask folding my arms
"Ok give me a beat" Corey says, Elton and Corbin try to beatbox. Try being the key word there. Corey starts of walking around in a 'swagger' walk then he goes into doing some tap
"That was great" Elton says
"I used to teach tap" Corey laughs.
We carry on walking around and Greg continues to talk to us about this one area that is the paranormal hot spot. I can feel that this area is a lot heavier than where we have been previously. Greg tells us that growls are heard in this area which makes me worried
"Growling?" Corbin says in more of a questioning tone to see if he just heard that correctly. Greg confirms this
"No wonder it feels darker and heavier in this area. As soon as we walked over here it was like all I could think about was darkness and a dark mass over here" Corey nervously laughs at me
"Bro how does it feel knowing that you are dating a medium?" Brandon laughs
"There was a team of paranormal investigators here who saw a shadow figure right where your standing" Greg points to Brandon who moves out of the way "they said it proceeded to get down on all fours and crawl down the hallway"
"Oh lovely, so a very dark entity that may not even be human" I comment "Elton why do I agree to do this with you?"
"Because your my sister and you love me?"
"Love is a very strong word" I cross m arms sighing
"Ouch I take offence to that" I roll my eyes at Elton
"I would say that anything here is demonic if that's what your worried about, but negative. And when I say negative they can't physically attack you, but I've had good experiences with the spirits here like EVPs that are super helpful. I'll play you one later. But we're going to go into this room here" Greg opens up the door allowing us to walk through. They don't actually know what this room was used for, but it has no windows. Apparently it is the only room in the prison (besides a couple of closets) that hasn't got any windows. There a lone chair in the room, kinda creepy but sure! Greg tells us that a woman was sitting in the chair and something touched her, she freaked out and got out. Some one else sat down and was challenging then not long later she felt a burning sensation ok the back of her neck
"I thought you said nothing could attack you?" I frown looking at Greg
"There was no scratches on the woman"
"So it could have been residual. Like someone here was burnt or hurt their neck and that just carried over to the woman?"
"Possibly. We don't know"
"I think Thea should sit in the chair on her own"
"Nope not happening" I shake my head at Corbin
"I just think you may be able to communicate well with whatever is in here"
"Here's a challenge. You sit in the chair alone for 15 minutes"
"That's a long time" Corbin exclaims
"I don't know why your zooming in to me" Brandon says to Evan
"Because your sitting down on the chair" Elton laughs
"I sat in the bathtub last time on my own so they have to do it" Brandon points to the rest of us
"Stop being crazy Brandon, just 'cause you took a bath" Corey pretends to be mad at Brandon by shaking his head
"My favourite thing about Brandon is when he gets uncomfortable he like scolds the viewers because he looks at the lens like 'I don't know why...' and he looking dead into the lens" Elton laughs
"I still think it should be Thea" Corbin points
"Dude I thought we were friends. I thought you had my back"
"Yeah when you feel ill or whatever but you feel fine so it's your turn"
"But this stuff effects me more and you guys will leave me and then I'll end up passing out"
"Woah wait how did you get to that, have you ever passed out before" Elton laughs at me
"No but I could"
"What if we promise that we will stay on the other side of the door?" Corbin asks
"I don't trust you" I laugh pointing at the boys
"Let's figure this out later, we have more to explore" Elton says and we continue our tour.
