It's only 9pm and already we have so much evidence of the paranormal
'Meeting' comes through the crystal ball
"Maybe it wants a meeting?" Corbin says
"We look like we're having a meeting" I joke a little. An imagine of someone crawling under the table flashes in my head making my gasp and stand up
"There's something under the table" Patti says
"I just.. shit... I saw something crawling under there"
"What?" Coreys eyes widen
'Look down'
"I have this horrible feeling that it's Elizabeth who's crawling. Could that happen? She was mutilated so would her spirit also look like that?"
"Possibly" Patti replies to me
'Answer the phone'
"No, nope, not happening. The last time we were here we did and it was a mistake we will not be making again" I shake my head remembering the last time Corey and I were here. Corey goes over to the phone and places it agains his ear
'Chelsea'
"Anyone there?" Patti asks
"No" Corey puts the phone down and come back to sit next to me
'Stay here' 'jump' the phone then starts ringing
"No way" Josh gasps
"We have to answer it" Corey jumps up, we all follow him to the phone in the bedroom, but before he can get to it the phone stops ringing. He still triesto see is he can hear anything but he doesn't hear anything
"If that was downstairs they would have let it ring more than that" Josh says looking at Corey as we head back towards the table
"It asked is to answer the phone and we missed it"
"If it's important they'll call back" I joke making Elton laugh
"Just imagine the ghost turns around to his buddies 'sorry guys they didn't answer' and a demon is just there with a pissed off face"
"Maybe we should just have Corey sit by the the phone all night" Corbin suggests. Literally as he says that the phone starts ringing again and everyone jumps around screaming. This time Corbin goes over to answer it
"Hello? Hello? No one's there" Patti then start smiling and clapping
"It's static" Evan says listing to what Corbin can here. The ovilus then goes off saying either 'hi' or 'hide'
"Hi would make sense since your holding the phone in your hand" I shrug
"Dude my heart is beating" Elton says with a nervous smile
"They just hung up!" Corey gasps "see there was someone on the line"
"Could someone be messing with us? Like, oh a bunch of young adults and Elton, are trying to contact spirit let's scare them"
"And Elton" Brandon, Josh and Corbin laugh.
We go back to the table after Elton rang the front desk to ask if they phoned us. Apparently it was an outside number meaning not one of the hotels. The word 'death' comes through the ovilus which freaks us all out
"Is it saying deaths calling"
"Really Corey? Don't even joke about that" I groan.
We all sit on the couch in the main living space. I sit next to Corey as Brandon suggests for Elton to sit next to the phone in the room next to us. As he walks passed I touches the rempod and the phone immediately rings. Corey jumps off the couch with Corbin answering the phone
"Hello? Hello?" we all faintly hear a hello "are you following us? Why are you only calling this phone? Are you in the room with us?" we all hear soothing that sounds like a muffled noise as if something is rubbing against the phone "can you say something? We know your here because we would hear a dial tone if you weren't. So we know your gear can you give...." as Corbin says this the beeping that tells you someone has just hung up
"That's crazy. It was literally making noises when Corbin answered it"
"What if the spirit can't actually talk to us through the phone put it can through the evp?" Josh points to Elton who's holding the evp recorder "maybe we sit here and do a quick evp session and see if that works" Josh suggests. We all sit back down. Elton moves the phone to the middle of the table where he puts the evp recorder. Corey sits next to me again and we ask the following questions
"Was that you trying to call us on the phone? If your trying to tell us something can you right now? Speak into that device on the table that I'm pointing to" Josh finishes asking questions and as he's reviewing the eco session the phone rings again. Corbin once again answers and this time we have the evp recorder going
"Hello? Is there anyone here? If you want to talk to us what would you like to say? We know you have enough energy to use this phone, can you bang or make a noise?"
"Who are we talking to right now?" Corey asks and we all here the same muffled noise as before but it sounds almost in a rhythm
"Are you walking?" Corbin asks
"Do you have trouble talking or breathing? Patti asks. A loud noise is then hear. That's when it hits me. The sound it's making.
"Holy shit" I breathe out with tears in my eyes
"What?" Corey asks
"It sounds like either digging or... hacking at something" as I say this the call hangs up
"Are you serious? Dude that's insane!" Josh says picking up the evp recorder
"I'm getting a bad vibe from whatever is on the end of that line. Maybe as horrible as it sounds, maybe we're listening to the person who murdered Elizabeth Short" I look around the group who all have wide eyes
"Look at Elton!" Corey points to my brother. I look over and Elton looks super nervous
"I was fine until she said that it sounded like someone getting chopped up and then it hangs up. That's not a coincidence".
