I have got to stop leaving lesson planning until the last minute, all I've got so far is a PowerPoint presentation on the plague. The class deserves more than this but I have been distracted lately...

It's completely my fault, I keep thinking about last weeks detention with Logan and how she completely let her guard down. I wonder how she'll be today?

My office door opened, startling me for a second.

"Hey, miss!" Maria chimed.

Great, here we go. Hold on a second... Logan? She shyly waved at me.

"You alright?" Logan mumbled. I immediately smiled at the sound of her voice.

What is happening to me. I could control it before but something has changed recently.

I turned my chair to greet them, "Hello, what brings you two to my office."

"Not much, we just wanted to say hello," Maria said.

Logan was leaning against the doorframe. How does she look so effortlessly good all the time?

"Uh no, you wanted to say hi and I didn't actually get enough time to mentally prepare for said social interaction." Logan interrupted before I could reply.

"Fair enough. I'm just eating my lunch." I shoved a load of pasta in my mouth to stop myself from smiling too much.

Maria sighed rather awkwardly, "Yeah that reminds me, I haven't eaten lunch yet."

"I'd recommend getting some lunch then, I'll see you in class Maria." I smiled, somewhat sarcastically. I knew she'd eaten already, she's just looking for an excuse to get out of here.

Just as Logan was about to leave I stopped her, "Not you Logan, you can stay." Why did I do that? I could have easily just not.

Maria wished Logan good luck and left us alone. Again.

I guess I can use this time to see if she's changed her mind about me yet.

"Close the door."

What? It's noisy with the door open.

Logan slowly closed the door, awkwardly standing in front of it.

She sighed, "What have I done."

What does she mean what has she done? Ohh I get it, she thinks she's in trouble.

"Oh nothing, I just enjoy your company," I said whilst continuing to eat my lunch.

Logan stood there confused for a second.

"Plus I want to know if you still hate me," I smirked. I need to stop flirting...

Logan laughed, "I don't think I do. But I'll let you know if that changes." She replied, returning my smirk.

Well someone's more confident today. So much so, that she decided to have a snoop around my office.

Oh no, she's found my certificate, please don't read it... Just pretend it's not there...

"Oh no... please ignore that." I lowkey begged.

Logan smirked, "This? This right here? Like right here where it says..."

"Oh god, here we go." I put my head in my hands, trying to escape the embarrassment that's to come.

"Certificate of teaching awarded to Miss Pelessaria Lois..." She grinned mischievously. "That's your name?"

Well shit.

I sighed, "Yes that's my name. Now, will you stop snooping?"

Logan walked over and leaned against my desk. Why did she have to do that, now I can't concentrate... It should be a crime to look that good.
