I had arrived at the school a bit later than I would've liked and I'm still trying to get all my shit out of the boot.

"Well hello there." A voice startled me, making me jump.

I knew exactly who it was.

I glared at her until I couldn't keep it up and I ended up grinning like an idiot.

"I missed you." She chimed.

I chuckled, putting my stuff down.

"Oh did you now?" I raised my eyebrow, copying her stance.

"I did indeed." She said, putting her hands in her pockets.

I spread my arms out, waiting for a hug.

It was taking a very long time...

"Aren't you gonna give me a hug?" I questioned impatiently.

Logan turned behind her, I presume taking to the wall, "Yeah mate, you gonna give her a hug?"

I shook my head in disappointment, that was not funny.

"Logan, get your ass over here now," I smirked.

"Damn Peggy, making demands now?" She smiled, slowly stepping towards me.

"I'm your teacher, you're supposed to do what I say."

She stopped right before my face. "You don't bloody act like it." She scoffed sarcastically.

I shook my head again before pulling her into me. She wrapped her arms around my waist, sighing as she held me tightly.

I've really missed this.

I buried my face into her shoulder, sighing in content.

Wow, she smells great.

I smiled into the crook of her neck at the thought.

"What are you grinning at?" She said.

"I could get used to this," I replied, my voice muffled by her collar.

"Why do you smell so nice?" I asked, sniffing her shirt.

"Hey! Stop smelling me you weirdo." She laughed, finally pulling away.

I am a weirdo, aren't I...

"What? It's not my fault you smell good." I replied innocently.

"I gotta make some effort."

For who?

I furrowed my brows, placing my hands on my hips,  "Who are you trying to impress?"

She looked me up and down smirking, "Who do you think?" She grinned before taking a pile from my car and walking towards the school.

Oh... Well, that's embarrassing...

"You're gonna be late," I called out.

"So are you" She shouted back.

I eventually caught up with Logan, "Come on, we can go through the staff entrance."

I opened the door and held it open for her to go through.

"Thank you, m'lady."

I couldn't for the life of me find my keys...

"You know if you give me the rest you'd probably find them easier."

That's a good idea, I put my stuff on her pile and found my keys, opening the door.

She put all the stuff on the coffee table then sat down on the couch.

I know for a fact if I want her out of here I'm gonna have to carry her so I may as well join her.

"So, how was your holiday?" She asked.

"Boring, how about yours?" I huffed.

"Bit shit. Couldn't annoy you for 6 weeks."

I smiled, "What did do instead?"

"I thought about all the ways I'm gonna annoy you," She said proudly.

I shook my head in disappointment, "Looking forward to it." I replied, patting her knee.

"So, what did you get up to?" She questioned.

"Uh not much, I just sorted some stuff out."

More like what didn't I get up to...

"Fair enough."

"I did miss you though." I smiled.

"Really?" She said surprised.

I nodded, "I uh..."

Oh god am I really about to say this?

Ah, fuck it.

"I couldn't stop thinking about what I said to you..." I muttered, looking down sheepishly.

"In a good way or a bad way?"

I took a deep breath,  "I wish I'd met you somewhere else..."

Logan frowned, she looked genuinely devastated.

"We both know I can't Logan."

"Yeah."

I sighed, "You know I care about you."

More than I'd like to admit...

"Sure."

The was a brief pause but before I could say anything she beat me to it, "Buddies?"

"For now," I said, sticking my hand out for her to shake.

She took my hand, shaking it gently.

"For what it's worth, I meant what I told you," I stated.

She raised her eyebrow in response, "What?"

"I don't think you understand how difficult it is to teach when you're sitting right in front of me." I sheepishly admitted.

"You were the one that put me there,"

That is very true, I do enjoy looking at her.

"That was before I lost the ability to control myself."

"That's not my fault" She shrugged.

"You know exactly what you're doing," I said, raising my eyebrow.

She laughed, knowing I'm right. "Me? Know what I'm doing? Never..." She smirked.

I smiled to myself for a minute before remembering something I wanted to ask her.

"Logan, can I ask you something?"

"Sure?"

"Is this just a bit of fun for you?" I questioned nervously.

"No why?"

Oh just because I'm sort of falling in love with you and I wanted to make sure you weren't being a prick.

"I just wanted to know." I smiled.

"So why me?" I asked.

She stayed silent for a while thinking about something to say until eventually, she smiled, "There's something about you."

I looked down, trying to hide my face as I felt the heat rise to my cheeks.

"Got any more questions? You know, before we have to leave each other alone."

I frowned, "You know I can't stay away from you."

"Good." She sighed, "Neither can I."

She patted my leg and stood up, holding her hand out to help me up. How chivalrous.

The bell rang for class and we both had a lesson to get to.

"I'll see you tomorrow?" She said cheerfully.

"I hope so." I smiled.

I know this isn't going to last very long...

I thought I could do it but just seeing her was enough to make me want to give up and kiss her.
