Chapter 18 - Demonstration

Susanoo, a Captain of the Wind Dragon Units of the of the Gahara Thearcy, was flying in the skies above the capital of their neighbor, the Fenn Kingdom.

Today was the military festival that was held in the Fenn Kingdom, periodically every Five years. Three wind dragons participated in the festival, though generally speaking they were more or less demonstrating their prowess, than being actively involved in diplomatic exchange.

Influenced by the almost unbelievable news that the Parpaldia empire will be participating, considering they never have once before, several military official and diplomats from a few of civilized countries from the Third Civilization area attended the festival. Though mostly to compare and show-off their military prowess in demonstration involving their naval assets in-order to display to the 'barbarians' the consequences of crossing them.

The Fenn kingdom were also on alert. The presence of the Parpaldia empire in the festival with a number of their gunboats whilst tensions have risen were the biggest factor. Since every country flaunted their level of military strength, this military festival also served as a way to keep in check of other countries.

Susanoo looked down from the skies above. He saw 5 grey enormous and eccentric-looking ships in the distance adjacent from the port, appearing to be sailing towards amanoki. 'New arrivals...' Susanoo thought.
