Harumi walks through the forest towards Tempest with Acatae and Kage at her side. Her eyes continually glance at Acate who seems lost in his own world as he studies the surrounding area.
"Are you alright King Acatae?" Harumi asks.
"Everything is different but I suppose five thousand years will do that. It seems you have taken good care of the forest since your awakening" Acatae tells her as he looks over at her.
"I've always liked nature. I guess you saw that in me when you were deciding whether to change me or not" Harumi hums as they continue walking.
"Well it seems I chose right. You have really made something out of yourself. Starting a nation and becoming a demon lord. It's leagues more than what I did in such a short time when I was alive"
"You did great things too King Acatae. Don't sell yourself short. If it wasn't for you the world would no longer exist and I would have never been alive" Acatae chuckles at her words
"You can just call me Acatae, Harumi. I am no longer the king of anything. My reign ended that fateful day and there is no one to view me as king anymore. You are now the ruler of this forest not I" Acatae tells her and watches as Harumi stops short turning to face him.
"You were the first ruler. That means something, even now. People still remember the great King Acatae and his rule back in the day. You weren't really forgotten over the time you were gone" Harumi informs him and he grins at her words.
"Good. maybe they will think twice before messing around again if they know not only will they have to face a demon lord but the legendary King Acatae as well. See if those humans try anything again with that probability" Acatae purrs at the thought of them trying something now that he's been fully revived.
Since Harumi resurrected him, the existence of his soul was directly tied to hers through the soul corridor. This caused him to be relieved of all the binds that held the old nymphs back. That and because she resurrected him from the point in which he was in his prime he was still a force to be reckoned with.
"So you are staying? You know you can go out and live however you want" Harumi points out holding back her hope at his answer. She had been alone species wise for a while and faced with the opportunity to be around one of her own kind made excitement flare up in her despite the polar opposites they seem to be as people.
