It's the 5th day, and Y/N, Naruto and the others finally arrived to the tower. After solving a simple enigma, they understand that they have to open both scrolls.

When they do, Iruka appears in front of them with a smile.
Iruka: Hey, long time no see!
Naruto: Iruka-sensei!
He yells happily, jumping on him, causing both of them to fall on the ground.

Y/N: Why are you here, Iruka-sensei?
Iruka smiles, getting up.
Iruka: I was sent here to tell you that you pass this stage. You did great, all of you. I'm very proud.
Naruto,Sasuke,Sakura&Y/N: Thanks.
Iruka: Now go upstairs. The last stage is about to begin.

They head on the 2nd floor of the tower, where they see all those who survived.
Y/N: So few?
They look at the Hokage, who looks back at them with a small smile.

Hokage: I must congratulate to you all. Since there are still too many of you, we need to do a few preliminary battles to decide who of you will take part in the 3rd and last stage of the Chuunin Exams.
Shikamaru: Preliminary?
Kankuro: Seriously?

Shikamaru sighs loudly.
Shikamaru: What a drag.
Hokage: We'll be doing 1vs1 battles. The one who wins, will be able to participate to the last stage. Who loses, doesn't need to worry. You can repeat the exam next year.
He says, smiling.

A man coughs.
Man: I'll take care of them from here on, Lord Hokage.
He says, coughing again.
Hokage: Great. Good luck, everyone.
He says, leaving the building.

Y/N suddenly flinches, feeling a stinging pain on his neck, just in the point where Orochimaru bit him. Sasuke does the same.
Naruto looks at him with worry.
Naruto: Are you ok, Y/N?
He asks in a whisper. Y/N slowly nods.
Y/N: I don't want to worry him.

Examinator: Let's begin.
A screen selects two names randomly.
Examinator: The first battle will be Uchiha Sasuke vs Yoroi Akado.
He says coughing.
Sasuke and that guy stare at each other.

Examinator: Any objection?
Sasuke&Yoroi: No.
Examinator: Then let the first battle begin!
The two walk to the center of the room, as the others walk on a balustrade.
Yoroi: Scared?
He asks with a smirk.

Sasuke smirks back.
Sasuke: You should be.
They start fighting, but to everyone's surprise, Sasuke's loosing. Then, Yoroi jumps on him, and slams one of his hands on Sasuke's belly. Blue particles surround his hand.
Y/N's eyes widen.

Y/N: He's stealing his Chakra!
They all look at him.
Suddenly, Yoroi is sent flying. Sasuke gets up, surrounded in a purple aura.
Y/N: No good. This is bad, he'll kill him!
Black signs start spreading through his face, and 5 minutes after, Yoroi is unconscious on the ground.

Examinator: Uchiha Sasuke wins.
He says coughing. Kakashi lands beside Sasuke. Then he whispers something in his ear, and they both go away.
Y/N: I wonder what they talked about...
The screen selects two other names.
Examinator: The next battle will be Aburame Shino vs Zaku.

He says coughing.
Y/N looks at Shino. They never talked before. Shino wasn't the type of person who likes to talk. Y/N found him weird and creepy.
Examinator: Let the battle begin.
Shino and Zaku start talking, but Y/N doesn't pay too much attention to what they're saying.

His head start spinning. When he looks at the two, he sees Zaku with bugs all over his body.
Y/N: Ew. This is definitely disgusting.
Naruto: You don't like bugs?
Y/N quickly shakes his head.
Y/N: I hate bugs.
Examinator: Shino wins!
He says, catching their attention.

Y/N sees Kakashi walking up to them.
Sakura: How's Sasuke feeling?
She asks in worry.
Kakashi smiles at her.
Kakashi: He's alright. You don't need to worry about him.
Then he looks at Y/N.

Kakashi: Y/N-
He tries to say, but Y/N interrupts him.
Y/N: I'm fine. You don't need to worry.
He says smiling, as he puts a hand on his belly, just above his seal.
Y/N: I'm sure I can control it.

Kakashi looks at him. Then smiles again.
Kakashi: Good.
They look down, as the 3rd battle is about to begin.
