My Family

Herbert's POV:

I was awaken by a phone call from Athena,saying that Kris is mad at me because I didn't reply at her last night,as Athena said,Kris is not talking or not in the mood to chitchat with anyone in the house except when she need something to her staffs or she will answer,but only short replies from her,which is not normal to her. My daughter ask if Kris is not feeling good,Kris told to her that I didn't reply to her last night,And that I also didn't call or text her this morning. And when I tried to call her,she is declining it, and text me "Don't call" which push me out of the bed,and quickly take a bath to go to her house. Besides it's Saturday today,so my work are not that loaded. In just an hour,I was already ringing their door bell. Athena welcomed me from the living room

Athena:Hi Dad,Tita Kris is in her room

Herbert:Sige anak,maiwan na kita,pupuntahan ko na Tita Kris mo

Athena:Go Dad,nagde-design din kasi ako

I go directly to her room,I knock first

He knocked

Kris:Come in

He slowly open and close the door,Kris didn't notice it was him until he is already in the edge of the bed

Kris: Why are you here? (She said coldly while not making eye contact with him)

Herbert:Love what's the problem?

Kris: Wala

Herbert:Kristina talk to me naman oh,mag aaway na lang ba tayo?

Kris:Pwede naman,gusto mo ba? (Glanced at him) 

Herbert:Kristina? Pwede bang mag explain muna ako bago ka magalit?

She didn't respond,he sits in the edge of the bed,looking at her intently even though she is not to him

Herbert:Love,na low-bat lang ako kagabi kaya di ako nakareply sayo. I was about to call you pero biglang nag turn off yung phone ko

Kris:Eh why you didn't bother to call me the time you get home? Don't use that excuses Herbert (You can hear at her voice that she is mad)

Herbert:Love can you listen first? (He still manage to be calm,because he know he have a fault) Dahil sa pagod,di ko na naalala. Nag shower lang ako kagabi then I fell asleep quickly.

Kris:So for this morning,shat is your excuse naman?

Herbert:Sorry love,late ako nagising

Kris: You eat dinner nga with someone tas you didn't text or call me (She said murmuring,loud enough to be heard by Herbert)

Herbert:Love,client lang yun

Kris:Client? Eh why you are sitting beside each other? Pwede naman magkaharap diba?

Herbert:Love,close kasi kami nun dati

Kris:So pag-close dapat magkatabi?

Herbert:Love naman...

Kris:Ewan ko sayo Herbert (sigh) 

Herbert:Love sorry na,pagod lang talaga ako kahapon,madaming ginawa sa office

Kris: K

Herbert: Love (collect her in his arms) I'm really sorry (pressed his cheeks into her neck) Love....huyy sorry na....Love naman 

Kris: Okay (Stand up from the bed)

Herbert:Anong okay love? (hug her from behind) 

Kris:Basta yun na yun,okay
