Somewhere Down The Road

Back to square (what?)

It's been a week since they found him,this is the day they are going back to Manila. Her two boys are already home,excitedly waiting for them. Herbert already know what's happening to him. A week to adjust helped him,especially Kris being her side all the time.

Herbert: love do you think Bimb will accept me as his mom's boyfriend?

Kris: Love? did you forget that I did told you that you and him are close?

Herbert just stare at her and suddenly wrapped his arms around her. Herbert took a nap with her in his arms. Kris just looked at him the whole trip,scared of what might happen to the next few days. Hoping that God will gave her long patience. After 3hrs,they arrived at her home with Herbert,Harvey and Athena.

Kris: Honey?Kuya? We're home! (She excitedly shouted as she went out of the van)

Bimby: Momma! (he exclaimed then run to his mom)

Kris: Where is Kuya? 

Bimby: Doing his round trip in the subdivision,Mom. Tito Herbert! (he rushed to him and gave him a tight hug) I've both miss you tito,are you okay?

Herbert: Y-yes ( he respond as he  reciprocated  Bimb's hug and look at Kris)

Kris: I told you ( she mouthed at him silently) Bimb let's go inside

Bimby: Where is Ate and Kuya?

Athena: Why Bimb? (Athena answered from the van)

Bimby: Ateee!

Bimby hug them all,he probably miss them that much. They've went to their dinning area. In the middle of their peaceful meal,Josh arrived. 

Kris: Hi Kuya!

Josh: Hello Momma (kiss her forehead)

Kris: greet Tito (looked at his direction)

Josh: Hi Tito ( he waved  at him before offering a handshake)

Herbert: Join us Josh

This is the first time they've eat in awkward silence. Nobody has the urge to talk even Kris who known as talkative. After that heavy atmosphere,they lounge in her living area

Athena: Tita,Dad,uwi muna kami ni Harvey

Kris: Hindi kayo dito matutulog?

Harvey: May dinner kami with Mom's side,Tita 'e. Balik na lang po kami tomorrow

Kris: Ow okay,balik kayo here early tomorrow ha. Dito na kayo mag breakfast

Athena: Sige tita,bye po

they do beso before leaving the house. While Kris is still standing at the gate,Bimb poke her

Bimby: Mom

Kris: Oh why honey?

Bimby: I missed you (hugged her tight)

Kris: I miss you too

Bimby: Mom..

Kris: Yes?

Bimby: why does tito is not comfortable around me anymore?

Kris: Honey,diba i talk this with you na? that Tito Herbert had a post-traumatic amnesia

Bimby: I know Mom,you've both explain it to us. But why does it had to be like this?

Kris: Sorry honey,maybe we need patience for Tito. He needs us. You'll help me right?

Bimby: We will Mom

Kris: Thankyou Bimb,i love you

Bimby: I love you too Momma

They didn't know Herbert and Josh is there in their whole conversation,he'd realize Bimb is asking for his attention indirectly

Herbert: hindi ba kami kasama dyan ni Josh? (he chuckled)

Kris: Come here

Herbert carry Bimby and hug him

Herbert: I miss you little buddy 

they had a group hug while Kris and Herbert is just staring at each other,smiling.

Herbert: I love you

Kris: I love you too

they both mouthed silently to each other.
