We stood on the roof of a two-story building across from another 5 story building. Peggy myself and Natasha with 3 other agents on the roof, 3 other groups surrounded the premise. Monitored one of few hydras base of operations. She pushed her finger into the coms in her ear.

Peggy: "Sound off."

1: "Underdog one, ok."

2: "Underdog two, all clear."

3: "Underdog three, Nothing here."

Peggy: "Alpha, Nothing this side either."

If I said I didn't have a crush on Captain Carter I would be lying. I mean come on, she's beautiful, strong, lovely personality and that accent just sends good shivers down my spine.

Y/N: "So about that date?"

Peggy: " 'Sigh' now is not the time agent S/N."

Y/N: "Aww come on, nothing is happening at the moment. And I'm bored. We can go out dancing, I know you like to dance. I've been taking lessons."

Smiling she responded

Peggy: "Just go check on the others then."

I dropped my head and slumped my shoulders.

Y/N: "Yes ma'am. This isn't over though."

As I walked back I could hear the other's talking."

Brock" He at it again?"

Natasha: "As always."

When I got there they were staring at me.

Y/N: "What?"

Natasha: "Nothing."

Y/N: "Sure."

She walked past me smiling, moving to Peggy.

Brock: "Man are you ever going to give up."

Y/N: "Never."

Back at Peggy and Natasha. 3rd pov

Natasha: "This makes how many times you've rejected him?"

Peggy: "Don't know. Lost count."

They both laughed.

Natasha: "So what's holding you back from saying yes, I've seen the way you look and talk to him when he's not asking you out. You like him. Besides he's cute."

Peggy: "It's complicated."

Natasha: "It can't still be about Steve can it?"

There was a moment of silence between them.

Natasha: "Oh come on Peggy, you can't keep holding onto the past. I know how you felt about him, but you are missing out on living your life. There's a great guy you can move on with."

Peggy stood there thinking that she did have a point.

Peggy: "If he can take out that whole warehouse full of merc agents. Then I'll accept."
