Five, Maisie, & Nicky's Anniversary Special!

A/n: So, today is my best friend Maisie's First Anniversary with her boyfriends, Five Hargreeves and Nicky Harper! One year is very special for anybody in a relationship, as it signifies how strong your bond with your partner/partners really is! And it can also pave the way for a second year, a third, a fourth, and so on! So to celebrate, I made another special chapter dedicated to their anniversary!

It was November 11th, 2021, a very special day in the cabin belonging to Five, Nicky, and Maisie. It had been officially one year since they began their poly relationship, and they were all looking forward to this day, particularly Maisie, who couldn't wait to see what the day would bring. As she slept in for a while, Five and Nicky were in the kitchen hard at work preparing something delicious for their girlfriend.

"I really hope she likes what we have planned for today," Nicky said over the pan containing a fresh batch of sizzling pancakes. "I'm sure she will, Nicky!" Five said, his gaze focused on the coffee machine as it poured the aromatic black substance into his mug. They would never admit it to anybody, but in the beginning, they worried that the relationship wouldn't last as a poly relationship was one of the hardest relationships to maintain. But, they beat the odds, and now they were the happiest they had ever been.

Back in the bedroom, Maisie shifted under the covers, hoping to feel the comforting and warming embrace of her boyfriends, but when she didn't feel that, her eyes opened with worry. As she was about to hop out of bed and look for them, she saw her boys enter the room, a large object in both sets of hands.

"Happy Anniversary, darling!" They said in unison, carefully making their way over to her with the tray containing the breakfast. "Aww, thank you so much, Fivey and Cookie!" Maisie smiled gleefully, a delicate hand resting over her heart. Five and Nicky took their seats at her side, anxious to see how she would react to the breakfast, though they both knew she would like it. "Mmm, this is delicious! I think I'm tasting a bit of vanilla. Did you add that in there?" Maisie asked.

"Yep, I did! I wanted to add something as sweet as you," Nicky smiled. Maisie's cheeks turned pink with flattery. She was used to her boys saying sweet things to make her day brighter, but every compliment never failed to flatter her. After finishing her first bite of the pancake, she leaned over and kissed each of their cheeks, making their cheeks turn light pink as well. "I love you both so very much," She whispered, feeling them rest their head on her shoulders, arms wrapped around her back.

"We love you too, Mai. And we always will,"

Later in the day, Five and Nicky had to attend to some of their Isle duties, which unfortunately meant leaving their girlfriend by herself. But, to pass the time and ignore the brief loneliness, she spent her time adding the finishing touches to their anniversary gift, something she had been working on ever since the beginning of their relationship. The more she continued to work on it, the more memories of the time they spent together came flooding back, making her heart swoon.

After about an hour, a knock came from the cabin door and instinctively thinking it was Five and Nicky, she took the gift and hid it under a few lingering objects, covering the majority of the gift. She dashed over to the door, and to her shock, it wasn't her boyfriends. But instead, it was Dusk, one of her best friends and Five's twin sister. "Heya Maisie! I was checking in to see if you were doing alright. I heard it's a special day!" She waved, a knowing smile at the corner of her lips.
