Dusk was sitting in the bedroom of her cabin, hard at work on some of the homework she needed to catch up on. Fall break was coming sooner than she anticipated, and there was no way she would be forced to work on homework during her hiatus. Especially during Thanksgiving with her repaired and forever bonded family. "Hey Klaus, Quigley, could you grab me some water?" Dusk called out to her boyfriends, who were watching TV in the living room. "Sure thing, sweetie!" Klaus replied before Dusk went back into her studying zone.

Alright, History's out of the way. All that's left is English and Physics, shouldn't be that hard. Sure enough, she blasted right through the English work, but the physics sheet threw her for a loop. Suddenly, her phone started ringing, the Caller ID revealing to be her mother's boyfriend, Trevor.

"Hello?" She asked, picking up after the third ring. "Hi, Dusk. It's Trevor, I know you must be very busy right now, but I was wondering if you and Five could babysit for Sophie tomorrow night? Tessa and I are going out and Sophie's regular sitter canceled at the last minute," Trevor explained. Dusk's eyes grew wide as saucers. Sure, she had watched over the young ones before, but it was usually when the adults were close by and doing their own thing.

But never before had Dusk ever taken up a babysitting gig. "Are you still there?" Trevor asked, bringing the raven out of her thoughts. "Yeah, I'm still here. Must've cut out for a moment," Dusk responded. "So, will you guys be able to do it? At the very least, we'll be gone for about two to three hours. I'll pay you both when we get back,"

"Yeah, we'll be there. What time?" She asked grabbing her nearby pen, ready to write down the info. After that, Trevor and Dusk made some small talk before hanging up, leaving Dusk to tell Five about their duty the next night. At the dining cabin, Dusk kept glancing up at her twin, watching as he conversed with Nicky and their girlfriend Maisie. She decided to wait to tell him about the babysitting job in a more private area.

"Hey Five, after this can I talk to you outside?" Dusk asked. "Sure, is everything alright?" He questioned. "Yeah, everything's alright. It's sibling stuff," The two siblings met up on the main dirt path, saying their brief goodbyes to their lovers before walking off down the torch-lit path. "So, what is it you wanted to tell me?" Five asked, breaking the silence between them. "I got a call from Trevor a few hours ago. He called to ask if we would be able to look after Sophie tomorrow night," Dusk filled him in. "And I told him that we would be there,"

Five bit back a sigh of frustration. "Why did he have to ask us to watch her?" Dusk told him practically everything from that phone call. From the other sitter canceling at the last minute, to the time they would have to be there. "You don't understand, Dusk. I already made plans with Mai and Nicky tomorrow night. And on top of that, and the most important of all... I don't know how to take care of children!"

"Look, I know you don't want to, but I already told him that we would be there. And besides, think about this, if Mom and Trevor's relationship continues and maybe turns into something more, we're gonna have to take care of her eventually. Look, I've never babysat someone full-time before, not on my own. Please Five, I can't take do this all by myself," Dusk said calmly, hopeful that he would cave in. Five could see the pleading in his sister's eyes. And although he was ashamed to admit it, she was right.

He was happy that their mother was dating a kind man, but if things were to progress and continue to make their mother happy, they had to step in and take care of their potential baby sister. "Alright fine! I'll come along and help. But you owe me one, sis," Five responded. With that, Five and Dusk sealed the deal with a solid handshake and walked to their cabins to meet up with their lovers again.
