My cure {Jeremiah Valeska x reader}

I wake up to a phone call. It's Jim.

"Hi Jim." I say.

"Hi Y/n, listen, there's a fight happening soon. We need all the hell we can get. We have the guns, but not enough guards.. can you help us?" Jim asks.

"Of course!"

"Thank you. Nygma and penguin are here as well. Bring Jeremiah with you." He hangs up and I tell Jeremiah and we leave.

We arrive at the station. We go inside and I see Oswald.

"Hey, what's this fight about?" I ask.

"We are fighting Ra'a Al Ghul's daughter." He replies.

I look at Jeremiah and he looks confused. Guess he didn't know Ra's had a daughter..

Jim fills me in more in detail and hands me a gun.

He then looks at Jeremiah.

"..I hope you don't mess this up." Jim says and gives Jeremiah a gun.

Then, we leave the station. My heart is pounding. I haven't fought like this in a long time. Jeremiah notices and holds my hand. I smile at him.

We arrive to where we will be fighting.

"Y/n, Bruce and Jeremiah, take the left. Harvey and I will take the right." Jim says and we all move over to the left.

"Holy mary mother and Joseph.." Harvey says.

I look down. We are so outnumbered.

"Captain Gordon.. I always knew you had a saviour  complex, but this is too much." A man says.

"What happened to you Eduardo? There was a time when you would have been up on these barricades with me." Jim asks.

"Yes...but that was before I found my true purpose. Stand by, fire on my command." Eduardo replies.

"Jim, it's a lot of innocent soldiers down there just following orders." Harvey say.

"Target Bane and Nyssa's commandos. Fire on my command. For Gotham." Jim says.

We all start shooting and try to dodge bullets.

I see Eduardo try to shoot Oswald. I was about to go over when a bomb was thrown at them.

"Y/n, don't!" Jeremiah shouts through the screams.

I just continue shooting as I see Bruce going away.

"Gather all the ammunition you can, then head back to the GCPD!" Jim shouts.

"Come on Jeremiah, we need to go!" I say.

He doesn't move. He continues shooting.

"Jeremiah! Come on! We need to go, well get hurt." I say.

I watch him shoot at least 7 people.

"Jeremiah. Jeremiah stop!" I shout and he looks at me.

"Yes.. sorry. Let's go!" He says.

We go the GCPD. They won't tell us anything though. We sit outside.

"I'm sorry, I couldn't stop." Jeremiah says.
"It's okay. You were nervous. I was too." I reply.

We both help Lucius and Lee. I help her try and bandage everyone up.

"Okay, looks like we need to go." Lee says and I nod.

We move some people.

"Y/n, Jeremiah, this is dangerous why are you here?" Jim asks and suddenly an army of people show up behind him.

"Ready. Aim. Fire!" Eduardo says.

Nothing happens.

"You have a choice. You can stand with us, or you can stand with them!" Jim say and Eduardo is about to shoot Jim when suddenly all his army aims their guns at Eduardo.

Eduardo drops the gun and people cheer.

I smile and kiss Jeremiah.

Everyone goes back to the gcpd.

I notice Barbara and Jeremiah and I go up to her.

"Y/n!" She hugs me, while holding her baby.

She gives Jeremiah a dirty look but I ignore it and look at her baby.

"Oh she's so cute! What are you gonna call her?" I ask.

"I'm not. Jim will keep her."

"You are? But.. wow, well  good for you.." I say. She smiles and hugs me.

Jim comes up to her and we leave them alone.

I turn to Jeremiah and smile.

He kisses me.
