Despite everything happening so fast, Sapnap felt as though time had froze as he reached out for his fiancés arm. He had just barely grabbed it but as he went to push it so that he'd turn around, Quackity harshly yanked his arm free.
"Quackity please- we can talk about this! I'm- it's probably some sick joke but- come back, please!" His heart was beating like a drum inside his chest, arms reaching out to desperately grab hold of his lover but he only continued to walk away.
"Karl cut it out- Quackity please! Look just give him a chance!"
Sapnap felt his heart break piece by piece as he only continued to protest, saying he didn't want to see either of them near him or Las Nevadas unless they wanted war. Karl encouraging him to get rid of "his murderer' only felt like salt to the wound.
"I love you." He said, whether it was in desperation of wanting Quackity to stay or because he felt it may be the last time he'd be able to was unknown but God did he hope it'd make him stay. Or at least, hear him out. "I love you, Quackity. Please. I'm sure this is just some-"
"You love him?" Karl's voice cut him off causing his fiancés to face him. Though it didn't seem like Karl knew that both of them were his.
"Yes, of course I do! Why wouldn't I love him?" Sapnap replied almost proudly before noticing the tightening of Karl's jaw.
"Karl what's-"
"You love the guy who cost me my life?" His harsh tone caused not only Sapnap but Quackity as well to flinch.
"How dare you say you love me only to confess your love for the man who was the cause of my murder! How dare you-"
"No don't blame him, how dare you accuse me of a plan you agreed to!" Quackity cut in.
"Why would I agree to my death! That doesn't even sound like me!"
"This doesn't sound like you!" Sapnap shouted and it was then that the two finally stopped talking and listened to him. "This, whatever sick joke you're playing isn't like you at all, Karl! What- what's going on? Why are you acting like this, what happened?"
Instead of replying, Karl simply huffed before turning on his heel and walking away. Quackity mirrored his action and walked off in the opposite direction leaving Sapnap standing helpless in the middle, desperately trying to reunite his two lovers to no avail.
"Quackity please, come back! We can talk about this, just the two of us- Karl cut it out! It's not funny anymore just cut the act! Quackity-Karl........please!"
