When I was 4 I got Acute Laryngitis. Which is the most common cause of voice loss. I was diagnosed a week before my birthday when my voice started to get hoarse. Two days after my birthday, I lost my voice and haven't been able to speak since. Now I am 13 and my doctor found this experimental surgery. Since it's 2025 the laws have changed so that kids who have this could get this problem fixed. They proposed this treatment and it gave me hope. This was the best day of my life. I haven't spoken for a little over 8 years I was so happy. The day I went I to the hospital was the day my life changed forever.
