One minute she is screaming and giving birth and the next minute she is unconscious on the bed with our daughter. Machines are going off left and right. I'm trying not to panic but there are nurses taking our baby and nurses on my wife preforming CPR. Its so hard not to panic. They have been doing this for about an hour. I knew she was gone 30 minutes into it. I can't help but cry, knowing our baby is going to grow up without her mother and the fact the love of my life is gone. After they wheeled Jessica's body away, one of the nurses came in with our baby. "Sir I'm aware this is a bad time but we really need you to name her."
"I'll name her Jessica like her mother. Jessica Grace Johnson."
"That's a beautiful name sir."
"I know," Joel said solemnly.
"Well you guys should be able to go home in a few days and your wife's body will be sent to the morgue. I'm sorry for your loss." The nurse explained.
