In Gotham City and the scene opens up with an alarm clock was going off in someone's room. Artemis turned off the alarm clock before opening her eyes and looking at an Alice in Wonderland poster that over another bed on the other side of the wall.

The same woman from the shadows who tried to assassinate Dr. Roquette looked younger and was packing a bag. A younger version of Artemis was sitting on her bed begging her not to go.
Artemis: Please. Please don't go.
???: Sorry sis. Mom's not getting out of prison anytime soon and I refuse to live in this house with just dad.
Artemis: Dad and you and me. We have to keep this family from falling apart.
[Flashback over]

Back with present day Artemis, she was broken from her thoughts when her mother called for to get up.
Paula: Artemis get up! I don't want you late for your first day of school.
Paula wheeled away from the doorway and Artemis groaned and covered herself in her bedsheets.

At Gotham Academy, Artemis was wearing the uniform required by all students to wear at the school. She was pulling down the skirt when her tour guide walked up and greeted her.
Bette: Artemis, my name is Bette. I'm your new student liaison, welcome to Gotham Academy.
Artemis: Thanks, I'm Artemis. But you... knew that.
A boy with jelled hair and blue eyes came up to Artemis and put his arm around her shoulder and held a phone up in the air.
Boy: *to Artemis* We'll laugh about this someday.
The boy took the picture and the flash made Artemis close her eyes. When she opened them the boy was gone.
Artemis: *to Bette* Uh, who was that?
Bette: A freshmen, just ignore him.
The two walk off and a red haired girl with blue eyes was leaning against the pillar with her arms crossed as if she was watching the whole thing.
Red haired girl: Dick, what was that about?
Dick: *scoffs* Nothing Barbara. Just being nice to the new girl.

Later that day in the cave, M'gann and Superboy were kissing in the hanger but were interrupted when Sphere rolled up and started beeping.
M'gann: *laughs* Someone's jealous.
Superboy: Maybe. or maybe-
Kid Flash: Hey guys.
Y/n and Kid Flash walked up to the three with a sandwich in the speedster's hand.
Kid Flash: You two sure spend a lot of time working on this bike. Obviously you need the Wall man's expert help.
The scene changes to Red Tornado and Aqualad talking in the briefing room.
