After the attack on Mount Justice, (Y/N) along with Impulse, Beast Boy and Blue Beetle were all captured by Aqualad and taken somewhere new. The wielder of the Omnitrix opened his eyes and saw that he was inside of a pod.
(Y/N) : Wh...What is this? I gotta get out of here.
(Y/N) started to twist the ring of the Omnitrix but nothing happened as it wasn't working.
(Y/N) : Great...
He looked forwards and saw that a female alien was standing in front of the pod he was in, staring at him. Another alien came over to her and began to talk to her in their alien language.
(Y/N) : I wish I knew what they were saying.
Omnitrix : Providing translation.
The Omnitrix began to flash green and suddenly the alien's unknown language began to sound like English.
Alien : The Scarab's memory files are corrupted. Only recoverable data is from the last eight months. That is, since it fused with this host body. In fact, I was just reviewing the point of...
Alien #2 : Spare me the details. If the Scarab is off mode, perform a reboot.
Alien : I'd rather access the cause of the crash, ambassador, to make certain it cannot happen again.
??? : Now, scientist, admit it.
The two then turn around and see a large figure wearing a black version of Jaime's Blue Beetle Armor.
Black Beetle : You just enjoy playing with the meat.
Scientist : Well, there's that too.
[Small Time Skip]
Currently Aqualad and the Ambassador were walking through the halls of the ship they were on.
Aqualad : Your ship is most impressive, Ambassador. As are your people.
Ambassador : We call ourselves the Reach. And these are our labs. Most dedicated to researching the human meta-gene.
Aqualad : Meta-gene?
Ambassador : A genetic marker indicating the potential of an individual human to survive catastrophic physical trauma by adapting new abilities.
Aqualad : In other words, Ambassador, the meta gene allows certain humans to develop superhuman powers.
The Ambassador then leads Aqualad into the one of the ship's research labs.
Ambassador : Kaldur'ahm, this is the scientist in charge of all meta-gene research.
Head Scientist : I understand you are responsible for providing several of our test subjects. Gratitude.
Aqualad nods his head before he walks over towards the pods and sees multiple teenagers inside of them and noticed that La'gann was inside of one.
Head Scientist : I assume that it should interest that in this lab we are attempting to isolate the meta-gene by stimulating potentially dormant powers in average humans.
Aqualad : But La'gann already has powers. He is Atlantean. Hardly an average human.
Head Scientist : Ah, but his powers are based on training in sorcery. Beyond that, he is an average Atlantean, is he not?
The Head Scientist then takes Aqualad to another one of the ship's labs.
Head Scientist : Now in this lab we study humans with active meta-genes and how they respond to various levels of... stress.
