(Y/N), a normal boy who has admired heroes ever since he was 5, but it was impossible for him to become one. After all he was just an ordinary kid. That was until he found a certain device that fell from the sky one day.
Currently in Metropolis, a giant robot that looked like a Christmas solider was walking through the city as the citizens ran away in terror.
Toy Man : The Toy Man's toys don't come cheap.
The robot then raised its fist in the air and punched through the roof of a bank. It then pulled out the bank's vault.
Toy Man : In fact... They break the bank!
The Toy Man let out a laugh but it was cut off when a blue blur sped by and cut his robot's hand off. The hand and the vault fell towards a crowd of people but it was blasted away by a sound wave. It was revealed that the culprit of everything was Blue Beetle.
Toy Man : No fair! I get the hero who took down the Warworld single-handed? This is Metrolpolis. Where's Superman?
The toy man pulled a lever and the thrusters in the robots feet activated, causing the robot to fly high into the air. Blue Beetle aimed his sonic cannon at the robot and released a sonic wave, destroying the robot.

The robot's parts were then scattered around the city and Blue Beetle took Toy Man out of his robot's head and handed him over to the police.
Blue Beetle : Here you go, officers. Time to put the toy man back on the shelf.
The police took the Toy Man away and suddenly Cat Grant appeared.
Cat Grant : Blue Beetle, Blue Beetle, a moment?
Blue Beetle : For the famous Cat Grant? *bows* I'm at your service. Heck, I'm at everyone's service. That's just how I roll. *waves to crowd*
Cat Grant : So, you've begun handling situations that, once upon a time, were a job for Superman.
Blue Beetle : Hey, if the Justice League's too busy, I'm happy to pick up the slack.
Jamie : ( Why am I still waving? I look like an idiot! Scarab, do something! )
Scarab : ( The Reach desires the crowd's adulation, and we serve the Reach. )
Ambassador : Quite correct, Scarab. Fighting human crime is without benefit. Making sure the crowd appreciates it, priceless.
Head Scientist : Given the recent negative publicity over out hidden invasion fleet, it is fortunate that out puppet is appreciated at all.
Ambassador : Please. The meat loves their heroes. You worry too much scientist. *through Blue Beetle* I am so honored by your kind attention and so honored to be your hero.
Jaime : ( That's not the way I talk! And stop waving. I look like the queen of England. )
The Scarab then puts Jaime's hands on his hips.
Jaime : ( Great. Now I'm Peter Pan. )
Cat Grant : *to Blue Beetle* As your profile expands, you worry about increased scrutiny.
