After everyone met inside of the Metropolis they all climbed inside of the Super Cycle as Dick briefed them on their mission. Bedlam is one of the most notorious meta-human trafficking syndicate on the planet and the main base of operations was in Markovia. Artemis and Dick flew into Markovia from Vlativa under fake passports and Dick suspected that person behind Bedlam is the person behind the assassination of the country's King and Queen, who made it their mission to end meta-human trafficking in Markovia. He even wondered if Bedlam is connected towards the royal family. While (Y/N), Conner, Jeff and Wally fly the Super Cycle over the border of Markovia, Artemis and Dick would be attending Prince Gregor's pre-coronation ceremony.
Currently Dick and Artemis made it to the ceremony and looked around and noticed that crowd looked dead.
Artemis : Not exactly a wild crowd.
Dick : Hard to feel the aster when both your parents have just been murdered. Trust me.
Artemis : Do you really think the two princes could have something to do with their own parents' deaths?
Dick : I hope not. But we shouldn't make assumptions. Honestly though, there are more promising suspects.
Dick then looked over to a man who was talking to woman with long brown hair and wearing a black dress.
Dick : That's Dr. Simon Ecks, a world renowned geneticist, who for some reason is taking a low paying job at the Markovian children's hospital.
Artemis : Maybe he just likes kids.
Dick then gets a message from Oracle saying "I bet this is our guy."
Dick : Yeah, you're probably right.
Artemis : Really? I was kinda joking.
Dick : I mean... Maybe he just likes to abduct kids and turn them into meta-humans. The fatality rate at that hospital is way above the normal.
Artemis : What about the woman with him?
Dick : Dr. Helga Jace. Personal physician of the royal family. With no indication she has the training for meta work, but you never know.
Dick then looked over at a man that had a brown mustache extending to his chin and had a sword.
Dick : That's Baron Frederick Delamb, the late queen's brother. Tomorrow when Gregor's crowned king, Uncle Freddy becomes regent until Gregor turns 18,
Artemis : *scoffs* There's motive, for either of them.
Dick : Or both.
Frederick then walked up to a small platform where the King and Queen of Markovia's pictures were standing. He then climbed up the stairs of the platform before talking into the microphone.
DeLamb : Good evening. Less than 24 hours ago, our own King Victor, and our beloved sister Queen Elona, were ruthlessly assassinated. But tomorrow, we crown their firstborn, my nephew, Gregor, as our new king.
As DeLamb continued to give his speech Prince Gregor and Brion began to have a private conversation.
Brion : You can't let DeLamb become Regent.
Gregor : It's only for a year.
Brion : Don't be naive. Our uncle can do much damage in a year.
Gregor : We have no choice, Brother. *smiles* You must have patience.
After DeLamb finished giving his speech, Gregor walked up to the platform to shake his uncle's hand while the crowd clapped. Brion, who was irritated throws away his drink and begins to walk away as Artemis notices this.
