"This place is beautiful. He's so soft. I've never been on a camel!" I leaned forward and pet the camel's neck while he plodded along towards our room. A man in a hotel uniform was leading him.

"They give him bath. He smell nice, but not as good as my boy. You feel different now? To be mine forever?" Tareq pulled me back against his chest and kissed my neck as we rode along.

"I do. I thought I'd be super freaked out up there in front of everyone, but I wasn't. I realized I want this. I can't wait for our baby and our home together." I turned my face towards his and his lips rose up to find mine.

The camel went over a rise in the desert landscape and then down a path between huge Acacia trees that shaded us from the quickly setting sun. We'd taken a limo from the wedding. We were just outside the city at a desert resort built into a cavern between two large, rocky mountains that looked like the ones back home in Tucson.

"This one is ours." Tareq pointed to a two-story box painted to match the surrounding desert and shaded with large trees.

The camel went right up to the front door and Tareq slid off before reaching up to lift me off of it. I gave one last hug to the gentle giant before reaching for Tareq who brought me down into his arms. He had me horizontal in his hold with one arm under my back and another under my knees as I wrapped my arms around his neck to hold on.

"You can put me down. I can walk," I laughed.

"Never. I marry you and you are legally mine." He carried me to the door as the camel's attendant went to open it for us.

The first floor held a small kitchen with a table and a living room that held a huge television on a wall decorated in ornate wood carvings. The back of the open space was lined with tinted windows that looked out over the desert scenery with no other buildings looking back at us.

I could see a few goats lazily making their way across the landscape, stopping to investigate the scrubby growth. The couch, the curtains, the rugs, everything looked straight out of the Aladdin cartoon I'd watched a hundred times growing up.

"Oh it's so beautiful! I feel like princess Jasmine! I just need to find a lamp" I noted.

"I do not know her. You want I turn more light on?" Tareq shook his head in confusion then kissed me. I guess he's not a Disney fan.

Tareq said something to the attendant in Arabic and the guy set the room keys on the table and did a little head nod before turning on a few lamps and leaving us alone. I stifled a laugh.

Tareq carried me to a staircase that climbed around the corner of the room. We went up to a bedroom loft with a second bathroom. The room was dominated by a huge canopy bed that went up to the ceiling with flowy white curtains tied back with gold ropes. The white bedspread had pink rose petals laid out in a heart with our initials T & D inside.

"It's beautiful!" I caught my breath as he brought me to it.

"Is all for you. My boy deserve the best," he said and held me out like he was ready to toss me onto the bed.

"No! You'll mess up the petals!" I protested, but he dropped me on the bedspread anyways.

"I am pretty sure our sex will destroy it." He laughed as a spray of rose petals flew up.

"Dude!" I scolded softly.

"I take pictures." Tareq took out his phone and got a few pics of me spread out on the bed of petals wearing my tuxedo from the wedding.

"Well it's too late now." I shrugged.

"They make new tomorrow when they clean room. So sexy. I cannot believe you are mine for life," he sighed after snapping a few pics.
