Finally! A ship that doesn't have worst pony in it! And its a Best Pony ship, today's my lucky day!
RainbowPie, let me start off and say, these two would be a POWER COUPLE! There are plenty of those sort of sips, TwiDash, need I say more? SoarinDash, both awesomely awesome fliers, being in a relationship? I don't think your beating either! *Gasp!* Imagine their children! How fast would they be?! If they take after either of their parents, then they'll be real quick wouldn't they?
Anywho! Back on topic, even though there are so many power couples, they each have different powers; Pinkie makes ponies all around her smile, that's her whole life after all. She makes ponies smile, and what does Dash do? She motivates ponies! No matter what, she's always been able to do just that. Imagine these two both making ponies happy and motivating them to do more, that would be just what a sad pony, down in the dumps, would need. There are benefits for 'em as duo, but what about them as a couple?
Well, one I'd like to think that these two are a whole lot more than just that really fun gay couple that always put a smile on your face. I like to think that these would work with their flaws instead of trying and fixing them (not that I'm against that or anything. Best Ship do be striving that way). From what I've seen of these two, they'd try and work with each other's flaws, Dash would embrace Pinkie hypeness and Pinks would have to just smile at her lover's ego when it pops up. This definitely is an odd mix to the table of Helping Hands. There are its flaws... pun to be intended... they' merely increase each other's weaknesses, instead of help reduce them. Dash's big head would get bigger and Pinkie would never learn to fix those.
I have a theory for that; that's what friends are for!
One more thing I wanna say before we go to the biased bit. These two are heavily seen to be helping each other in their partner's respective strengths/ Like Pinkie lifting Dash up from a low point in her pride and Dash being able to make Pinkie smile when Pinks herself cannot. Its a really cute, and heart warming way to see these two.
Now for my bias.
I like this ship, I like it a ton. These two would made a nice, cute duo. Plus have you seen any art of the two!? Those cannot get fluffier!

This is, to some extant, what I was talking about, how they can help each other in their strong suits, Its precious to see Dash trying to cheer Pinkie up, I love it.
