Our professor gave us a free cut. She advised us to use it for the upcoming midterms but I'm pretty sure that most of us will use the free cut time to sleep.
We are all sleep-deprived. We're just on our first year and we're already sleep-deprived.
Paano pa sila Cole?
I decided to spend my 4 hours spare time to look for a gift for Tory. I was planning on buying her a gift online since I don't have time, but since I got a free cut today, I'll buy her gift in a physical store instead.
I was already near the gate when I heard someone call my name.
Lumingon ako.
"Hi!" He greeted me.
Who's this guy?
He's familiar but I couldn't recall where I saw him.
"Have we met?" I asked him.
He was tall— almost as tall as Cole. He was wearing medicine uniform.
"Yes! Baka hindi mo lang ako naaalala." He answered.
Sino ba 'to?
"I'm Matty! Cole's friend and blockmate." Pagpapakilala niya. He even offered his hand.
Oh.
"I'm Vienne." I introduced myself though it's pretty clear that he already knew who I was.
"Tapos na class niyo?"
"Free-cut." I simply answered.
"Really? So, you're heading home?"
I get it. He's friendly... and talkative.
"No. Mall." Sagot ko.
"Why? Unwind?"
"No, I'm gonna look for a gift for my sister."
He nodded. "I'm actually going to the mall too. May kulang pa kasi ako na libro. Sabay na tayo?"
"I'm about to book a grab, though." Please, take it as a no.
"May car ako. Let's go?" Damn it.
I contemplated for a second. Then, he chuckled. "Bro, relax, I'm harmless. You can even call Cole." He even raised both of his hands.
I sighed before I nodded.
He seems nice and besides, he's Cole's friend. I should give a good impression— especially that he was being nice to me.
"Nice car." I complimented.
It was a grey Audi Q5. Unlike other men's car, specifically my Dad and Cole, his car was kind of messy. It almost made me cringe when I got inside.
Sa labas lang pala maganda.
"Sorry, medyo magulo."
Medyo?
I kept my mouth shut.
I was just quiet when he suddenly caught me off guard by suddenly leaning to fix my seatbelt.
"Ayusin ko lang." He said.
Napakurap ako.
The guy just invaded my personal space.
Did he do it on purpose?
Humigpit ang hawak ko sa dala kong bag.
I sighed.
It was unintentional, for sure.
