Pair of eyes are watching even when you can't feel it upon you~
The training continued for hours on end until the next day when my crow came in while I was resting under the roof of Uzui estate drinking some leaf tea. The bird landed on my shoulder yelling into my ear about an appearance of a demon north from here.
I sighed getting up feeling my legs lift me up and become sore instantly, I squinted my eyes while gently setting the bamboo cup down. the crow moved a bit getting off my shoulder and watching me struggle to stay up.
"Well it seems he broke you to the core" the crow proudly says
"Silence, This is my doing... besides I have to do this in order to improve," I say between my silent groans as I took a step to walk. Uzui was gone on a mission so I was by myself all this morning.
I exhaled feeling my lungs retract and relax hitting my sore ribs, I glance up at the movement of the leaves of the trees. I walked around carefully in front of the estate to make sure I was able to at least run and jump properly, I don't want to stumble and risk getting hurt severally while being continuously sore.
"Ok, let's go," I say walking to the gate to leave the headquarters, my hand rested near the hilt of my sword subconsciously. My raven flew above me as we began to travel down the trail out of the headquarters.
As I walk in the deep brush of the woods my raven sat on my shoulder, their claws encased my shoulder gently and some strands of my hair were stuck in it but it didn't pull it.
"Did you leave the sound hashira a note before you left," My raven asks out of the blue making the silence get interrupted?
"Yes, But I'm sure even if I didn't he would know I have missions," I say seeing the forest slowly opening up as minutes goes by walking north.
The forest was silent and you could only hear my footsteps drag against the dusty dirt whenever I took a step forward in the wilderness.
There were moments I would feel my h/l touch me which made me shiver cause it tickled my skin causing goosebumps.
The walk lasted for at least an hour before I started picking up the pace and ran instead making my crow get off my shoulder quickly and fly above me.
"How close am i" I asked
" just about another hour away" the crow said from above. I hummed in response keeping myself in a regular speed so I don't waste my stamina running.
From the past two days I can see the massive difference in endurance and stamina I used to have. It's growing at a regular pace but it is noticeable.
I stopped running when the woods opened up into a small village. The village was quiet and you could hear the water streams go through their farming grounds that ground their veggies and wheat.
