Arthur Leywin POV:

"Are you all ok?" I asked.

I only received nods which is to be expected. I did just reappear out of nowhere. I was a still contemplating what just happened in the other room and what this relic would help me or allow me to do.

I was jolted out of my thoughts by Samantha tapping me on the shoulder. I looked up at her and she said with a red face. "Uhh N... Note. You mask." She held out my mask trying to hand it back to me.

My eyes widened. I completely forgot. I touched all over my face hoping that I would have somehow covered it. But when I just felt my bare face I couldn't help but say. "Oh crap my mask."

I heard a few laughs at this and it was good everyone still had the heart to laugh. We had at least not lost anyone.

I looked at all of them as I took my mask and decided it was definitely something I needed to confirm.

"Hey so. About this whole mask thing. Do you mind-"

I was cut off by Brald.

"Don't worry Note. You are the sole reason why any of us are alive right now. The least we could do is not tell anyone about this." He then turned around to look at the others. "Right guys."

They all nodded at this. I smiled back at this and decided to keep my mask off for the remainder of the time in this dungeon.

Reginald let out a laugh and said. "I'm afraid if we said no you would have had no problem with shutting us all up. We really didn't have much choice."

Everyone around laughed at this including Elijah. I hadn't actually expected anything like that.

We began to make our way towards the exit when a giant rumble made everyone stop.

Of course. I couldn't help but smile. It's been quite a while.

A huge obsidian black dragon broke through the wall and stood in front of everyone. The dragon was easily over 20ft in height and no doubt the pressure she was omitting was that of an SS class mana beast. All of this yet most of all she was my daughter someone I cared about and would do anything for.

Everyone took out their weapons.

"Stop." I said.

I walked towards the dragon. Not bothering to hide my happiness.

"It's been a while hasn't it Sylv."

Sylvie then transformed into a white fox a form she had told me she picked up.

'Yes papa I missed you.' She said in our mental link. I picked up the white fox and rested her in my arms.

'I'm just glad you're ok sylv."

I tuned back and once again everyone was staring at me open eyed.

"That's... a... a... dragon!" Elijah shouted.

"Yes she's a dragon."

"Don't say that as if I'm the weird one. They are meant to be extinct."

I nodded and replied.

"That's why you all need to keep her a secret." I said with another smile.

They were all shaking their heads. But I couldn't really blame them. It wasn't exactly like this was normal.

•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

On the way up I had gotten friendly with Elijah. He and I had exchanged stories. Well a small part of mine. He had told me that he wasn't actually a dwarf and about his ability to conjure metal instead of manipulate it. His story was quite interesting. But he still was a mystery. There were other things he mentioned such as making a name for himself and other things of the sort.
