POV: Narrator
Seth fishes through his locker grabbing things and stuffing them in his bag. It was the end of school and everyone was excited, mostly since it was Friday. Game day.
Tyler: So it took a girl to get you to come.
Seth: I guess.
Cameron: Have you two done anything? Just the two of you?
He says that in a silly tone poking Seth's shoulder.
Seth: No. She had practice all week and I didn't want her to be late.
Cole: That's just a good excuse not to hang out with her.
Seth: She was fine with it so I see no problem.
Jade: I guess that's what happens when you date a carefree girl.
Tyler: I guess.
Cameron: And she's busy too. I gotta hand it to you Seth, you struck gold with this one.
Seth: How so?
Cole: Think about it. You don't like to do anything after school and this girl can't hang out after it.
Jade: And thanks to Cameron you hang out with her at lunch so it's not like you don't see her.
Cameron: You can thank me later.
Seth: I'm good. Anyways, when is this game?
Tyler: 5:00.
Seth: Ehh, I'm just going to sit here for the time.
Tyler: Can't you drive home?
Seth: No I don't want to. If I do I'll just stay home.
Jade: I can see that happening.
Luna: Hiya!! So everyone coming today!?!
Cameron: By the looks of it yes.
Luna: Yeah! I can just tell this will be fun!
Cameron: Well we'll see you guys later.
Seth: Alright see ya.
Cameron, Tyler, and Cole walk off as Seth closes his locker.
Jade: So where are you going?
Seth: Lunch room, I don't know.
Luna: Your staying?
Seth: Yeah.
Luna: I can see why. I'm going to Jade's house for a bit!
Seth: You live close?
Jade: You can say that. What you wanna come?
Seth: I'm ok.
Jade: The temptation huh.
Seth: Yup.
Luna: Well see ya!
Seth: Yeah yeah.
He sits in the lunch room and looks around. There were some other people there but not many.
The teachers were nice and didn't give the students homework, so Seth opened a book- I mean manga.
Seth Thinking: Kaiju No. 8, I need more.
He read half already and slowly gets to the end of the book. He looks up, then gets up. Walking over to the vending machine, he pulls out his wallet and gets something to drink.
Seth: 1.75, deal.
After putting money in and tapping a Coke, he grabs it and sits down. Re-opening his manga he leans back and takes a drink.
