Seth: Oh, hey. Didn't know you'd do this too.
Emma: Heh, yeah, everyone wanted me to do it, so here I am.
Seth: You know you don't have to do whatever people say.
Emma: Heh, but, were you pushed into this?
Seth: You're right, I should follow my own advice. Whatever.
Emma: So, what's your plan?
Seth: It's obvious. I'm gonna win.
Emma: Heh, you think so?
Seth: Oh yeah. Normally these things are all about popularity and how well people know the contestants, but with this new arrangement, even someone like me can run.
Emma: What's that supposed to mean?
Seth: A complete no one like me can run for this. And now it's just who has more charisma. I just need to put on an act.
Emma: Ehehe, I guess you're right. Well I'm sure all your friends will vote for you.
Seth: They better.
Emma: I mean we won't know till after the vote.
Seth: Yeah.
Emma: Well we have to pair up with people in the court, so do you wanna pair up?
Seth: Sure, in fact you will give me a boost in my stats.
Emma: Heh, boost your stats?
Emma Thinking: He's talking like it's a video game.
Seth: Being next to someone so popular is good for me if I want to win.
Emma Thinking: HE IS THINKING LIKE IT'S A VIDEO GAME!!!
Emma: Heh heh, you really want to win huh.
Seth: Yes.
Emma: Well, I guess I'll be happy to help you then.
Seth: So, what do we do?
Emma: *Mutters* You don't know, Ehm, well since it's a lot different this year. I know some schools only have seniors run for Queen and King and also this isn't supposed to be a one day thing so today the school has us pair up in two. We will walk out kinda like a model runway and I'm losing you aren't I?
Seth: Ahhhhhh-
Emma: Ehehe, ok think like this. Me and you will walk out there and let everyone look at us ok. Then they will pick the people they like best. Bad news is that even if one of us win, the other won't. So if you win, I might not.
Seth: Oh that sucks.
Emma: Yeah it does.
???: Hey Emma, wanna pair up with me?
Emma: Oh hey Ryan.
???2: Emma pair with me!
???3: NO me!
Emma: Jordi, Eoin, sorry, um, I'm actually with Seth here.
Emma got behind Seth and holds his arm. He raises his free hand and gives the guys a peace sign.
Ryan: Seth?
Seth: Sup.
Jordi: Why?
Emma: Um, he, asked, first.
It went quiet fast. They looked at each other, but then back at Seth, who was just standing with Emma behind him.
