Step step step - thump . . . . Crash

The the team circles Seth, patting him on the back. For normal people, being an anchor is a pressure filled job, but Seth didn't mind. In fact, his bowing has gotten way better since he joined.

He walked back to the table and sat down. It was their last round, so started to take his shoes off.

Jack: Good job.

Seth: Thanks.

Jack: I'll be taking the fifth spot next game. Watch me.

Seth: Feel free to try.

He didn't mean it like how it sounded, but it sounded cocky.

JacK: Heh.

However Jack had a feeling Seth didn't mean it either. He noticed Seth's lack of memory and more importantly people skills. Jack was by no means popular, in fact people found him annoying. Self centered, cocky; really nothing going but his looks and acting. Perfect blond hair with shining blue eyes. He got the lead roles in the school play since freshman year, and undoubtedly everyone knew he was good at it, but just in case you didn't, he would tell you.

Jack did have social skills, but he just couldn't help talking about himself. After non-stop talking to Seth about his accomplishments and the following day Seth being clueless who he was, Jack had a couple ideas come to mind. 1) He was being an ass and playing around. 2) Seth just didn't listen at all. 3) He's special.

Nate: Yo Seth, you got plans for the break?

Nate is the opposite of Jack. An average looking kid, short, black hair and brown eyes. Apart of the going home club but his Mom made him play a sport.

Seth: Not sure. Probably just gonna stay home ya know.

Jack: LIKE HELL YOU ARE!!

Seth: Who are you to tell me what to do?

Jack: YoU hAvE a GiRlFrIeNd! YoU hAvE tO tAkE hEr OuT!!

Jack, even with his stunning looks, has never had a girlfriend. I think you can see why.

Seth: You do have a point.

Nate: Hey Christmas is coming up, you should take her out. Maybe buy her a gift.

It's been a month and a half since Halloween. Nothing new to report really. Thanksgiving was normal, and no big games were in play. It's a week from Winter Break.

Marc: Easier said than done. My girlfriend keeps comparing my gifts to the other guys give her friends. It's so hard. It's like nothing's ever enough.

Seth: Really? Do girls think that.

Everyone nods.

Seth: Oh no.

Jack: What have you been giving her?

Seth: . . . . N- Nothing.

Guys Thinking: How is she still with you?

Nate: Well, then this is perfect! You know, she won't be expecting anything!

Marc: True, good surprise, but doesn't everyone give something on Christmas.

Nate: Just give it to her before, like the first week of Break. But you also have to give her something on Christmas.

Seth: I'm not made of money dude.

Marc: We're not saying go broke.

Jack: Who's your girlfriend again?
