New Years Surprise
It was a couple hours away from the new year and there was zero to little crime. It must have been a slow night or people were too excited for the new year.
Everyone was at the manor waiting for the final hours of the year to come to an end. After much convincing from Jason, Bruce had finally let them have a firework show which would be run by Alfred.
There was an hour less and everyone was out of their suits and going to get ready for after dinner.
The whole family were sitting together in the garden waiting for the fireworks to begin, Damian took Marinette's and she looked up at him. "Follow me" he mouthed, being as quiet as possible.
Damina led Marinette through the garden but took them to a dead end, "Damian this is a dead end what are we doing here?" Marinette questioned her boyfriend.
"Not unless you know where to look '' he said looking at the wall across he moved the branch of a bush and revealed a hidden door he opened it and held his hand for her to take and she did.
He led them both into the small room, inside it was dark but was lit up by the stars, there was a blanket laid down on the grass and a small swing in the corner.
"I found this place while exploring the garden, know one knows about it, not even Pennyworth. This place was overgrown so you could barely get past the door. I would come here when I want to get away" he said.
The two were laying down on the blanket gazing at the stars "why show me?" Marinette asked, taking a glance at Damian.
"I trust you" he said and she smiled at him and he returned it with a smile of his own.
The countdown began 10...9...8...7...6...5 the two slowly leaned in and 1 was heard. Their lips met for a sweet kiss.
"Happy new years" they both said as they pulled away, they looked up to see the fireworks go off bright colours going everywhere in different shapes and sizes.
"I have something for you to stay here" Damian said getting up,"Dami, you didn't have to get me anything. I feel bad now that I didn't get you anything." she said.
Damian quickly walked out of the room and came in with a beige box that had holes in it but had a giant pink ribbon on it.
Marinette opened it and an adorable little puppy sat in front of her, she gasped at the sight before hugging Damian.
"Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou" Marinette said "I'm glad you like him Angel" she gently scooped up the puppy and Damian watched.
"Hey little guy, I am not gonna hurt you promise" she said and the puppy relaxed against her.
The puppy is a (I realised I have no idea what type of dog this is, comment if you know) the puppy was brown and white and had black eyes.

The rest of the night was spent playing with the puppy and watching the fireworks.
Time skip
Everyone had just counted down to 0 and the new year had begun. They were all talking about resolutions, when Bruce noticed. "Where are Marinette and Damian?" he asked and everyone looked around.
"Master Bruce they are fine, I know where they are" Alfred said which reassured him.
