Hey everyone here's another chapter of This is Our World. I hope everyone is doing good. I love you.

Today I was chilling in the house and by the way me and my brother live together for the time being. I plan on moving eventually cause my brother be bringing over his gang member buddies and I don't rock with that. I remember this one time one of his homies tried to put his hand up my skirt. Then he be bringing guns and shit in the house and we be arguing all the time about the same shit. Then too he doesn't like my boyfriend and they be getting into it all the time about me. It's just mad ghetto and I can't with that shit lol. I will say though when it comes to his friends he does have this one friend who seems super cool and real smart. His name is Ykir. He's only 21. Why this dude was banging I don't know cause he's way too intelligent for this shit. Sometimes we have talks on the low & he told me he likes me. He admires that I have something going for myself. He says most people in the hood just get stuck there and don't seem to want much else for themselves. He also says he's glad I didn't turn out like my brother. He knows I have a boyfriend though so that's a no go and then to it would be weird cause he's my brothers friend. Today the shop was closed cause I made it a point to have the shop closed at least once a week. We put in a vote collectively and we all agreed on no work on Sunday's. I was watching some tv and sitting on my bed when my big head brother came in my room to ask me to do his hair for him.

G Perico: Hey sis what you doing today?

Mia: Nothing just hanging out around the house. Why?

G Perico: I need you to do my hair for me

Mia: I thought you was getting your hair curled again

G Perico: I was but my hair stylist couldn't fit me in

Mia: I don't know why you just don't let La La do your hair. You know she knows what she's doing

G Perico: Is you gonna do my hair or not?

Mia: Yeah. What you want braids?

G Perico: Yeah

Mia: That's so sad. You gotta a whole girlfriend that knows how to do hair and you won't even let her touch your head

G Perico: Girl shut up

Mia: No you shut up. When do you want me to do your hair?

G Perico: Give me like 2 hours. I gotta go see one of the homies real quick

Mia: Boy I told you about that shit. You need to let it go. You gonna get in trouble and when you do don't come calling me to bail ya ass out

G Perico: You sound just like mama

Mia: Well she was right

G Perico: Listen I'm the older one. You supposed to listen to me and let me guide you. It's not the other way around

Mia: Well I'm glad I ain't dumb enough to follow behind yo ass. I wouldn't have what I have. I'd be just another gang banger wasting my life like you. How am I younger then and I'm doing better then you? Explain that shit

G Perico: I ain't got time for this. I'll be back

Mia: Yeah okay

Later that day

I was doing my brothers hair and I was almost finished. I think I might have had like 3 or 4 braids left when Dave walked in my room. Damn he was looking mighty fine today. Well he looked fine everyday but today he was especially fine. His beard was looking right and tight. His hair could've been better but I was gonna fix that. I told him come by like an hour after I started my brothers hair cause I thought I would be done already. But today my brother was being hard headed and moving around a lot so it's taking longer then usual.

Dave: Baby I thought you was doing my hair today

Mia: I am honey. Just give me a little while longer. Maybe like 20 minutes

Dave: Baby I got shit to do today

Mia: Okay just hold on

Dave: I'll just come back next week

Mia: Babe you don't need to do that. I'm almost done. If Jeremy would just keep his head still

G Perico: You hurting my head

Mia: Well you know I braid tight so I don't see what the problem is. You just wanna give me a hard time

G Perico: Girl just loosen your grip a little

Mia: Will you keep still?

G Perico: Ouch

Mia slapped him in the back of his head. He jumped up like he was gonna do something but then Dave got up.

Mia: Next time nigga have La La do your hair. Tender headed ass

G Perico: Okay I will and what you jumping up for Dave? What you gon do?

Dave: Nigga let's go outside and I'll show you

G Perico: Okay you ain't said shit but a word

Mia: Hey there's not gonna be any fighting in here or on the front lawn. Y'all 2 are really starting to pluck my nerves with this bullshit beef y'all got going on. I'm gonna need y'all to dead that immediately like right now

G Perico: I don't know why you with him. He don't care about you

Mia: Oh yeah and how do you know that?

G Perico: Cause I saw the nigga kissing some bitch at the mall last weekend

Mia: WHAT! YOU'RE LYING!

G Perico: Nigga tell her

Mia: Dave tell me he's lying and I'll believe you

Dave just stood there speechless and staring at the floor. He couldn't look at Mia cause he knew it was true. The one thing he didn't know was that G saw him. I guess it's like they say. What's done in the dark always comes to the light.

Mia: DAVE! TELL ME HE'S FUCKING LYING! You can't can you? Last weekend you told me you were out of town meeting with a record label. You lied to me. I want you to get out

Dave: Baby listen

Mia: Oh now you can hear and talk. That's remarkable. I SAID GET OUT!!!

Dave: Mia I can explain

G Perico: You don't have to explain nothing home boy she said get out

Mia: Jeremy I didn't ask for back up and you can get out to

G Perico: What? I live here

Mia: I SAID GET OUT!! GO SEE YOUR GIRLFRIEND. SHE'S BEEN LOOKING FOR YOU! YOU WANNA TALK ABOUT MY RELATIONSHIP. YOURS AIN'T ALL THAT GREAT EITHER. NOW GET OUT THE BOTH OF YOU! I WANNA BE ALONE FOR A CHANGE!!

Dave and G both left the house and went their separate ways but not before arguing some more on the front lawn about why G snitched on him. Mia set in her room and laid on her bed . She grabbed her pillow as she laid on her back and she just cried until she fell asleep.
