It's A Busy Time

It was a busy week and the hair salon was jumping because of the promotion. I'm talking about they had a line outside the door like it was free before 11 at the club. No lie it was that busy. Mia and her sisters did what they could and tried to make everybody happy. They couldn't get to everybody so they decided that everybody that showed up that week would get a voucher to extend the deal for them and they would still get their hair done the following week. At the end of the work week guess who showed up to get his hair braided. You know him Mr. Doggystyleeee came through tryna act all concerned like he was looking for Mia the whole time she was gone.

Doggystyleeee: What's up Mia?

Mia didn't respond she just looked at him with a blank face. She was definitely disgusted to see him though and he could tell.

Doggystyleeee: Oh so you not gon' speak to me? I was worried about you. Where you been Mia?

Mia: Excuse me sir but I was gone for a whole year and you never once called to say anything. So please you can go head with that fake shit cause I see right through you just like water

Doggystyleeee: Oh so it's like that?

Meech walked up to Mia and Doggystyleeee and he stood up for his woman like he always did in the past. The truth is he was proud of his woman for finally being who she was supposed to be in the first place. He was proud to say she was his girl.

Meech: You heard what she said nigga now beat it before you catch these hands

Doggystyleeee: Oh I don't do threats. We can go outside right now. You can't see me homie

Mia: Back up Meech I can handle this. You know something bro? I put my relationship in harms way for some laughs and a good time. At the time it seemed harmless to me. But I had to take a cold hard look at myself one day cause I had lost everything. I was all alone and my boo left me because I was being stupid as hell out in the streets acting single with yo ass

Doggystyleeee: Oh nah hol' on cause it was me that told you go back to him in the first place. You only got yourself to blame for how shit went down

Mia: I think I just said that dumb ass. Anyways back to what I was saying. I was alone and the whole time nobody reached out. Only my sisters. Not you and not even Snoop. You ain't real. If you was so concerned and worried you would've picked up the fucking phone nigga. My number is still the same. So please miss me with that bullshit about you giving a fuck because you don't. Your heart wasn't in it like that. I ain't jeopardizing what I got going for myself anymore. So this is goodbye forever and I mean that shit. Now get out cause if my baby don't fuck with you neither do I. Find somebody else to do your hair because I'm done

Doggystyleeee: Okay that's cool but don't come hitting me up when you need another one of your "escapes"

Mia: I don't need you for anything. I got my sisters and I got my man

Doggystyleeee: Alright then peace

Mia: Yeah and tell Snoop don't bring his big ass up here either. Y'all some busters

Doggystyleeee: Whatever

Doggystyleeee left with his tail tucked between his legs. It felt good to be on the right side of life for once instead of disappointing everyone. Mia felt renewed like a whole new woman. Meech looked at her in her eyes and gave her one of those warm passionate kisses as a thank you for finally being who she was supposed to be to him. When they were finished kissing they smiled at each other and Meech said "I love you Pia Mia".

Mia: I love you to Flenory lol

Meech: You wanna be a Flenory to?

Mia: Wait what? You're not saying what I think you're saying cause I can go get a dress right now and we can go down to the courthouse. It's nothing

(Meech chuckles)

Meech: Nah baby we gon' do it right with my family there. Your sisters. You gotta meet my momma first and my dad even though he's incarcerated

Mia: Y'all I'm getting married

Everybody shrieked in excitement.

Debbie: Look whose all grown up now

Mila: I'm proud of you Mia

Mia: Thank you everyone

Cassie: Group hug

Debbie: You know I'ma help you pick out your dress and stuff right?

Cassie: We all are sister

Mia: I wouldn't have it any other way

Everybody burst out laughing. After the shop was cleaned and organized they all went to dinner to celebrate new beginnings and a new life to come.
