"Quite an impression. And only on her first day." Nayeon snuggled closer to her lover's chest.

"The princess had been in her chamber, remaining in a trance."

"Women loving other women is quite a shocker for any common folk, now imagine someone that has been locked away in one place for their whole life."

"Shouldn't it be much easier to accept it since she doesn't have anyone else to influence her choices?"

"Then why have you never informed her of us?" She raised her brow at the servant who groaned in defeat.

"Alright, I get it. Even I fear the princess may act in disgust to our relationship while General Lee was able to declare her liking for her with ease."

"The General...she's definitely something." The girl unwrapped her hand from Nayeon's torso. "I also heard she is quite flirty, Miss Im. Care to explain?"

"It's really nothing. She's just naturally flirty, I believe."

"I don't like her behaving like that with my girl."

"No one knows I'm your girl."

"I wish I could inform them, I really do. But I prefer to stay alive long enough to love you."

"Deceitful as usual, Yoo."

"It's not deceit, it's fear of safety, bunny."  Jeongyeon snuggled closer into Nayeon's neck.

Every moment spent together was precious to lovers who were unable to act as such in daylight.

"Now let's get back to our business." She lightly let her mouth linger on her neck until bringing it down to her shoulder. Jeongyeon softly sucked until she heard Nayeon whimper.

"We better hurry."

"Or?"

"The princess is waiting for me." Her hold tightened when she realized where Jeongyeon's hand was traveling.

The guard slowly pushed Nayeon back before hovering over her.

"I'm taking my sweet time with you, Im."

"What is taking her so long?" Jennie hastily got up from her seat to check the door once again. Nayeon was still missing and it was almost midnight.

Her head has been filled with nothing but General Lee. A woman liking a woman? She has never heard of such a thing but she was informed enough to know it would be frowned upon by others. Though the thought did make her heart flutter.

"Your Highness!" A disheveled Nayeon burst through the doors. "I apologize for my tardiness."

"What were you doing all this time?"

"I was the one being done, actually." She muttered under her breath.

"Pardon?"

"Just something to prepare for the upcoming season."

"I see." Jennie was too dazed to dig deeper. "Come help me with my bath. I'm exhausted."

Nodding, Nayeon made her way to escort Jennie to the private bath. She was helping her to remove the slash of her hanbok when they heard steps coming from outside.

Jennie was busy playing with the water to hear the midnight intruder.

"Who could it be at this time?" Nayeon excused herself to look outside but she saw no one there.
