Iylah Stilinski sat in Economics Class, and looked to her left when Jackson walked past her desk to situate himself at the desk behind Scott. "Hey, testicle left, middle and right—" They rolled their eyes, whilst Iylah found herself amused by his call, before their facial expressions faltered once they heard Jackson's next words. "what the hell is a Kanima?"

Before they could respond, they turned around as their attention was brought towards the front of the class, when Coach slammed a book down on his desk. "All right, listen up!" He called. "A quick warning before we begin our review— some of you, like S McCall, might want to start their own study groups, before tomorrow's midterm is so profoundly difficult, I'm not even too sure, I could pass it." Coach sighed, looking around the room full of students. "Okay, I need a volunteer at the board to answer the first question. Who's got it, huh? Come on, let's go buddy."

As the student Coach had selected to go up to the board, Stiles and the McCalls turned around and looked at Jackson to continue their conversation that they were about to have.

"Paralysed from the neck down. Do you have any idea what that feels like?" The Whittemore boy spoke irritably.

"I'm familiar with the sensation." Stiles replied in a drolly tone, before he received a sharp look from Jackson.

"Wait— why would Derek test you?" Overhearing Jason ask this, Iylah furrowed her brows at the mention of Derek. "Why would he think that it's you?"

Iylah looked more confused. Did he really just ask that?

"How should I know?" Jackson defended.

"Wait, so they think it's Lydia?" Stiles interjected, looking in disbelief as Iylah frowned. She didn't like what she was hearing one bit.

"I don't know." Jackson looked unsure. From the conversation between Isaac and Erica he heard before class, he didn't get much. "All I heard was her name and something about chemistry."

"Jackson!" Not having noticed Coach had walked up to them, the boys looked back at their teacher in shock. "Do you have something you want to share with the rest of the class?"

"Umm..." Jackson looked around before he faced his teacher. "just an undying admiration for my-my Coach."

Coach smiled at his student. "That's really kind of you." He told Jackson, before the smile dropped from his face and he snapped at him. "Now, shut up! Shut it!" He turned away from Jackson, and looked around at his other students. "Anybody else?"
