Stella's POV

Vicente walked towards Telesforo and Riley, then he accompanied them to the living room. He even apologize to them because of the mess that's happening right now.

Hindi naman ako makagalaw sa kinatatayuan ko dahil gulat pa rin sa sinabi ni Ate. Hindi ko alam kung ano ang dapat kong maramdaman ngayon. Nasasaktan ako at gusto kong maiyak pero walang luha na lumalabas sa mga mata ko.

"Remember when she gave you a dress before your shoot in Zambales?" Tanong sa akin ni Ate habang naggagalaiti siya sa galit, "She gave it to you to create her alibi! To divert the investigators' attention!"

I bit my lower lip while listening to Ate. Meanwhile, Heneral—who's beside me—slowly held my hand so he got my attention.

"Magpahinga ka muna sa silid mo... ako na ang bahala rito...." His eyes are now worried as he slowly speak to me.

Hindi ako sumagot at naramdaman lang ang panlalamig ng kamay ko.

He glanced at Ate, "Binibini, mabuti pang mag pahinga muna siya dahil may trabaho—"

"No Del Pilar! Stella needs to know the truth! Gusto kong malaman niya na dalawang dress ang binili ng Gia na 'yan for her and for the corpse!"

I swallowed hard as I slowly gazed at Gia. Her lips are now parted while her eyes are on shock. Paulit ulit siyang umiling sa akin at sinubukan niyang mag salita pero walang tunog na lumalabas sa bibig niya.

"H-Hindi totoo 'yan." Sabi ko na lang kay Ate.

Gusto kong maniwala na hindi totoong kaya akong saktan ni Gia. Naging mabuti siya sa akin eh. She even saved me twice from danger! Kaya't papaanong... papaanong kaya niyang planuhin na patayin ako?

Heneral carressed my hands when I didn't notice that I'm clenching my fist now. While Ate just smirked at me in disbelief.

"Are you fucking serious?" Ate asked while disappointment is all over her eyes.

I swallowed hard and tried my best to have a strong voice. "D-Do you have proof Ate?"

"Oh yes!" Sabi ni Ate tsaka dinukot ang phone niya sa kan'yang bulsa.

Halos mapapikit nga ako nang mapagtantong maaaring tama at may pinanggagalingan nga ang sinasabi ni Ate.

I took a deep breath and gazed at Gia.

When our eyes met, I saw how confused her expression is. I even saw her eyes watered but she just blinked for three consecutive times to avoid it from falling down. She tried her best to compose herself and remain her fierce look.

"Here." Sabi ni Ate tsaka ibinigay sa akin ang phone niya na may CCTV footage mula sa isang dress shop ng kilalang brand.

I saw Gia entered the shop, wearing a ruffle sleeveless dress and a shades. Ilang minuto siyang naglakad sa kabuuan ng shop hanggang sa dumating ang isang babae na may tulak tulak na clothing rack at sinimulan siyang i-assist sa pamimili.

My heartbeat stopped when Gia picked the dress she gave me. Ilang beses niya iyong tinignan at chineck ang bawat detail nito bago inutusan ang babae na dalhin na 'yon sa counter.
