Well, I guess you can safely classify me as a fucking psychopath. But that wouldn't really matter to me. All that mattered to me was Sophia Marcelo, or as I liked to call her, Sophia Vincento.

I sipped on my whiskey slowly as a troubled look etched on Sophia's face. She had been speaking on the phone. I couldn't help but eavesdrop.

"No, that's terrible. How could he commit suicide?" She gasped loudly. Getting him to write that letter had been the fun part, his mouth and shirt tainted in his sanguine blood.

"Okay. So when is the funeral? I'm so so sorry Maya, losing your brother must have been a blow," she winced slightly as I clicked my tongue at the taste of the alcohol.

"Fine. I'll pass by to give my condolences but I don't think I'll be able to make it to the funeral." She said in a sad tone as I smirked.

Even if it was an option, she wasn't going to be attending any fucking funeral. Especially his.

"Give my condolences to your mom and dad... Yeah, love you. Bye." She tapped her phone before sighing heavily.

She looked as though she was on the verge of a breakdown. I got up from my seat and went to wrap my arms around her from behind.

"You did this, didn't you?" She questioned in a tiny voice as I kissed her neck softly.

"What makes you think that baby?" I asked in a gentle tone.

"You weren't around last night. You promised to kill him if he ever hurt me again," she tilted her head to look at me.

"Maybe."

"It's okay Lorenzo. If we're together, we shouldn't hide things from each other," she removed my arms and turned to face me. I sighed heavily before crossing my large arms over my chest.

"Fine. I was the person behind it but what do you expect? For me to watch him emotionally, physically and mentally abuse or exhaust you. I warned him three fucking times that they'd be hell to fucking pay if he hurt you and I meant it." All signs of happiness evaporated from my body.

"I'm not blaming you for it. Of course, it was a bit... I didn't think you would do that much, and my heart goes out to Maya as well but I had a resentment for him. I'm just glad I told him how I felt before he left." She shrugged, her eyes slowly becoming glassy.

"I love you Sophia okay? I'd do anything in this fucking world to keep you happy, I'd even sacrifice myself without a second thought. I don't- fuck. I know you think I'm a crazy psychopath right now-"

"Shut up, Lorenzo. You're not a psychopath, ever. You're a man who loves me so much you'd get out of your way to give me everything I desire and I love you so much for that." She tiptoed to kiss me tenderly. I hadn't realized that a tear had slipped from my eye until Sophia rubbed my cheek gently.

"You're very precious to me and I fucking hate it when someone hurts you or makes you sad. I love you Sophia, more than you could ever imagine," I wrapped my arms tightly around her as she sobbed against my chest.

"I love you so much Lorenzo. You don't know how much pain Miles put me through, how much torture I had to endure. I never used to feel beautiful until you came along. I felt worthless and loose, I just wanted to die but... Lorenzo, you showed me real love. You gave me a reason to live and I look forward to a bright future with you. I can't thank you enough." I kissed the side of her head as a warmth unfurled in my gut.

"I felt like dying too because what was worth living for without you? I had hope that one day, you'd be mine. I knew you'd be mine." I hugged her even tighter.

"I love you," she whispered again as I stroked her long dark hair.

"I love you too, so much Sophia," I lifted her chin up to kiss her. We pulled away and I reluctantly let her go.

"Do you want to come and help me study?" Sophia winked and I grinned widely as I realised what she really wanted. I held her tiny hand before following her upstairs.

"I don't have a family," I crossed my arms firmly as I watched the little chubby toddler running around my house, spreading her toys anywhere and everywhere.

"Why not? Everyone- Amaya! No, stop that, you'll get hurt." Sophia ran after her for the hundredth time that day.

Despite the baby being only two and a half years old, she sure was energetic. Jose had brought Sophia her favorite little cousin sister to spend the day with her. The mother had said that she couldn't stop crying for Sophia. Everyone missed her nowadays.

I watched with a tiny smile as she picked Amaya up and scolded her lightly for messing the house. She looked so much like a mother, I couldn't help but imagine her holding our own baby in her arms.

There was this natural, mother-like quality that Sophia had and it was very prominent whenever she was around kids. She handled them with so much care, love and attention. She was perfect. My perfect Sophia.

I gazed at Sophia as she walked towards me with the child pulling her long hair excitedly, her hips naturally swaying seductively. She was so gorgeous it hurt.

"She has so much energy," I commented as Sophia pulled her chubby fingers away from her hair.

"True. I've been running after her the whole day." She sighed heavily as Amaya reached her hands out towards me.

"She likes you. That's weird," Sophia laughed as I tilted my head curiously.

"What? Am I not likable?" I questioned her.

"No, you are. It's just that she doesn't like anyone at all. Not even her own dad, she's just not a friendly baby." She gave Amaya to me.

I took her into my arms hesitantly and smiled as I noticed how lightweight she was. She stared intently at my face with her wide brown eyes before smiling.

"Ha-hand-handshome," she giggled as Sophia gasped.

"Now Amaya, who taught you that word?" She squeezed her chubby cheek lightly.

"Mommy. Sh-She say daddy handshome," Amaya pulled my cheeks curiously, wondering why my jaw was sharper than usual.

"Thank you Amaya," I smiled as she tried reached for my hair but her arm was way too tiny.

She sighed frustratedly before taking my large hand instead and blabbering to herself as she traced her tiny finger over it.

"I wuv gold. It shiny a-and bea-beatifow," she squealed as she fiddled with the golden ring around my index finger with fascination.

"Of course you do. It's very precious, for princesses." Sophia kissed her forehead as her mouth opened.

"Pwincess? Handshome a boy," Amaya giggled.

"Yeah. And for kings too. He's a king," she secretly winked at me as I chuckled.

"Are you qween? Yay!" She threw her arms up in excitement.

"No, no I'm not. Why?" Sophia tilted her head.

"You-you two cute," she said before smiling innocently. We faced each other with surprised expressions at how she had interpreted such.

"Okay let's get you to bed. You've had too much sugar," Sophia took her from my arms.

"Follow me."
