"We have a bit of DNA from the door handle and we found this," the police held up a stylish silver bracelet that no one in our house owned.

Ever since we discovered that Alora had been kidnapped, we had been restless, especially me. I couldn't help but imagine all the worst possibilities or what could have been happening to her. I was praying to God that she was safe wherever she was. I couldn't afford to lose my daughter again.

I was thoroughly regretting agreeing to Sophia's decision to come along. Maybe if I had refused, this wouldn't have happened. She would have stayed at home and played with Kylen then I would have been boarding a departure plane from America and returning to Germany today.

"Don't bother getting my DNA, I didn't kidnap my daughter." Sophia waved her hand in dismissal as one of the officers brushed her arm.

"Just doing my job ma'am," he shrugged then carried out his tests.

"Who could possibly have taken her and how did they find us? This is a very uncommon place and I'm pretty sure that no one really knows we're staying here," Luca scratched his head.

"I just want my daughter back," Sophia choked on a sob as I wrapped my arm around her shoulder.

"I have something." The DNA officer spoke up. We all turned our attention to him eagerly.

"On Ms. Sophia, there is a DNA matching the criteria," he spoke as we all nodded.

"This particular one belongs to our prime suspect. It is accurately matching the DNA we collected from the door handle, the staircase ledge and from Alora's crib." We all gasped quietly upon hearing his explanation.

"I didn't shower today, my father touched me. Who else touched me?" Sophia whispered.

"Wasn't it your mom? She came to see you at the park and hugged you." Luca said easily as all of us gasped even louder.

"Mom! She must have taken Alora, but how did she find us here?" Sophia slapped the marble counter in realization as an officer entered the room.

"Mr. Vincento, we found this tracker under your car. It's currently active and I have a feeling that the suspect used this to locate your residence." He placed a small round object on the counter as the pieces started adding up. Just when I was about to speak, a notification sounded on Sophia's phone.

She immediately unlocked it and we all watched as she frowned then proceeded to sigh. She handed the phone to me and I read the message:
