Amelia's POV
after i had ended things with link i walked back inside and i was immediately trampled with questions about me and mia "you and Mia were engaged?" i heard both Maggie and mer say Mia was just sitting on the couch staring at me.

"well if you must know yes" i told them going over to go sit on the couch by her "when?" Maggie asks me "when we were both in la together before she came and moved down here" mia told them the rest of the story well parts of it our story is kinda long.

"and why aren't you guys still engaged?" mer asked both of us this is when mia got really quiet she always does when we bring the topic about our past we shared together. "i had left her and that's the first time i have said that out loud" i told them "then i just stayed in la and started another chapter of my life without her which was hard" mia told them finally speaking about it

"that explains why you guys are so close with Arizona" Maggie said "because they all went to Hopkins together" mer finished for her and Mia nodded "Mia met Arizona before me then when we did meet we just clicked" i told them "so what are you guys now?" mer asked "we're just friends nothing else" i told them that's when Mia gave me a look "i have to get home, i'll see you guys tomorrow" she said getting up and walking to the door not even saying good bye or nothing she just left.

Mia's POV
i had to leave because after i heard the word "friends" i felt somewhat hurt that she said that after she just slept with me and said "i love you" iguess we are just friends. it was the next morning and we have a meeting today with bailey just to see how
we're doing. i walk in a it's just alex, april, arizona, already in the conference room

"hey guys" i said walking over to them "how's it going Evans" Alex said "good apes? zona?" i asked them "good" April said but Arizona was just looking at me trying to read my mind. "mia came out in the hallway with me just for a second" arizona said and i followed her out in the hallway "what? " i said as we got outside of the hallway "where did you go yesterday after work" she asked me "home" i said lying then i saw the brunette i have been avoiding all morning.

Arizona looked in my direction trying to see who i was looking at then she slapped my arm "what the hell?" I yelled "why did you sleep with melia?" she asked me "i didn't" i lied again this time she smacked me harder "can you stop lying" she said "ok fine i did" i finally admitted "dude why?" she said "can't i not sleep with her?" I asked "for you guys no! not unless you guys are starting something up which i highly doubt you're" she told me

"but don't you sleep with your ex wife" i told her then she got real quiet "my point taken" i said then i see amelia walking into the room. "now let me go" i said walking away from Arizona i kinda left her flabbergasted but it's fine I only told her the truth.

i walk in and almost everyone is there except a couple of people then Arizona walks in and hits the back of my shoulder then walks away like she didn't just hit me hard. i was trying to avoid talking to amelia but we both work on neuro so it was going to happen sometime today or later if not now then I see link walk up to me. I don't really know why?

"why were you with Amelia yesterday" he asked me "do i have to have a reason?" i said "did you sleep with her?" he asked me walking up a little to close to me "woah, why do you need to know that?" i asked backing up so I'm not so close "because you're the reason we broke up" he said getting mad "dude? if she doesn't like you then she doesn't how do i play a part in that" i asked him "i see the way you look at her" he said "yeah and so what you guys were never really together" i told him

"well i was planning on asking her out" he
said "how's that working out for you" I told him laughing a little "you stole my girl" he said his tone was starting to get higher so more people could hear us "she was never yours" i then was now yelling and they could all hear us. "yes she was" link said I was trying to leave but he was blocking the door way "no she wasn't she was mine and still is so move" I said yelling and he did and I just ran out

Amelia's POV
after everyone just heard the outburst between Mia and link all i wanted to go do is find her and see if she was ok but before i left people just had to know "what did she mean by your still mine" Jackson asked then i looked at Arizona she is going to explain that part.

i run out the room and try to go and find Mia i look in almost every on call room but she isn't in any so i go to the one place she feel in love with when she first got here. i walk to the blue room and find her in the chair just spinning around i walk in and close the door when she hears the door close she turns around and gets up and tries to leave but i stopped her before she did.

"no you're not leaving" i told her "just let me go i don't want to talk" she told me trying to walk past me "stop let me go" she said "no you can't just rush past what you just said" i told her i was referring to what was said in the room "well it doesn't matter we're just friends right" she said giving up and going back to sit down on the chair again "is that why you're mad?" i asked her "i don't know you tell me friend" she said i hate when she uses that word

"don't call me that" i told her "why you called me that last night? well right after we had slept together and you said that you love me" she told me now i know why she let all that anger she had built up out on link just now. "i didn't mean it like that" i told her "no you did which is fine i guess that was my go as to i can date other people" she told me which I'm not going to lie kinda made me mad.

then she turned her chair around to look at my reaction "i guess we can" I told her "yeah? i guess we can" she told me getting up to leave "i love you but i think you know that though" she told me before she left the room.

Mia's POV
i had to leave the room because if i didn't she would have seen me cry which i don't want her to see me cry. the minute i walked out tears just poured down my eyes. did we just officially end things with each other forever? i was walking down the halls and i see April she is the most who is like my best friend here and if she sees me crying she is going to be asking a bunch of questions why.

i wiped my tears before walking up to her then Arizona came up "what's wrong?" she asked me "nothing" i said getting the charts for my patients "you're lying, where is Amelia?" she asked me "the room we go to the most" i told her then she ran off then I started on my patients

Arizona's POV
i had just seen Mia crying and which i don't even know why she was just telling me how her and melia slept together and now she is crying these two really need to get their shit together because i somehow always end up in the middle of this whole thing.

i walk down to the blue room and find Amelia in the chair also with tears "what happened melia" i asked "she said we should date other people" she said but there is always something else with these two

"and what did you say" i asked her "i said that we are just friends because i don't know if she wants to be more i seriously hurt her" she told me "did you even ask her" i said and she shook her head no "you should go ask her before she actually takes that serious and dates other girls that aren't you" i told her she gave me a look

"well where is she" she asked me getting up and going to the door "i don't know anywhere check her office maybe" i told her then she came back to give me a hug "thank you zona I love you" she said before
