I'm sadly not back at work which sucks but I get to spend time with Amelia but being stuck in the house with her and her pregnancy hormones yeah that kinda sucks. "how it's going tom" I asked him through the laptop I have to do meetings with him now cause I can't go to the hospital because of the whole covid thing and Amelia being pregnant so he is taking care of both our patients.
"well while you're on leave I have decided to do a different way" he said "what do you mean" I asked him "one of your patients" he said very quietly "Tom please don't tell me you messed up the way I had it" I asked him getting a little frustrated because he didn't even ask "I wouldn't say mess up" he told me "no but you could have possibly messed up the way I had to save their life" I told him "Mia I would think of this as a favor" he said "no because I'm better than you and you know it" I said mad
"first of all no you're not and second I didn't mess anything up" he told me "ok I'm going to leave before I yell at you" I told him and he just apparently wanted to test me today "do it then" he threatened "no because me I'm actually considerate for other people and with what I do" I told him "also Amelia is sleep" he guessed "yeah that too I don't want to wake her" I said "how's that going" he asked me
"great" I said sarcastically "is it that bad" Tom asked me "no it's not it's just she can be mean at times she has her mommy protection up at all times" I told him "get use to it she is going to be more protective once the girls come" he told me then he hung up on me. Rude!
I looked over to see Amelia still sound asleep I tried to get up but she felt me and grabbed me by the waist pulling me back into the bed with her "stay" she said in her sleepy voice "how long have you been awake" I asked that cause how much of the conversation did she hear
"Like 2 minutes the most" she said "babe" I said "yes my love" she said "the girls are going to be here less than a month and we have zero names picked" I told her "actually I combined our ideas together" she said sitting up "let me hear it" I said "ok so you said you like the name olivia and I like the name rylan and baby a seems like a perfect match for the name Rylan Olivia Evans shepherd" Amelia said and I immediately fell in love with the name
"I love it" I said "and baby A she seems calm
so we're going to honor the two women who we have loved and shared memories with Lexie Charlotte Evans shepherd but the full name has to obviously be Alexandra but we'll most likely call her lexie" she told me baby A name and I loved it so much
Not a lot of people know that Amelia and Lexie had such a close relationship because it seemed out of the ordinary but when lex came to visit us that time in la Amelia with a instant loved her she was always happy and boy did she love mark sloan but as for baby A's middle name it's from the other blondie we adore Charlotte.
"I love them" I told her "they're going to be best friends I can feel it" Amelia told me "wait till they're teenagers" I said "gosh I don't want to think about my girls growing up" she said "yeah because they're going to be just like you" I told her as a joke
"you thought that was funny" she said "yes because I guarantee you one of them will have your attitude and the other your dark humor which I don't know if that is good" I told her
"I only say jokes like that because they're funny to me" she said "making jokes about dead people who we loved are funny" I asked her "ok maybe not" she said "yeah there not" I said
