Amelia's POV
I was in the kitchen preparing lunch for the girls since today is me and Mia's off day they were playing outside another thing Mia wants them to be interested in is softball she is trying to turn our kids in freakin softball girls or a soccer girl which I would prefer that better but I want them to become doctors I want them to become neurosurgeons obviously me as being their teacher would be so fantastic.
I got pulled away from my thoughts the door bell rang I went to go get it and it was Arizona
"hey where is jo" I asked her "that's why I'm here I need tell you something" she told me she was scaring me "did you guys break up..oh wait no your having a baby!" I started pulling out random questions "no and no" she said "ok then what is it" I asked her "if you sit your ass down and let me explain I'll tell you" she said
we were on the couch now "say it" I told her then she pulled out something from her bag at first I was confused but then I knew exactly what it was "omg" I said "shut up" she said "oh my gosh you're proposing to Josephine" I said really loud jumping up and down "sit your ass down before Mia knows" she told me "why can't my wife know" I asked her
"because she is besties with jo so that means you can't say anything to her about this" she told me "oh you see I can't do that" I told her "you're going to have to" she said "ok fine I'll try" I told her "where are they anyways" she asked "outside we can go if you want" I told her she nodded I went to go out their lunch away for when it's time then we headed outside
we were standing on the porch we have
outside I could see Arizona's face she was wondering why I have so many plants "why do you have so many plants" she asked me "mhm I don't know actually" I told her we were looking out at them the girls were running around "ok let me get this straight you have this big ass backyard with everything a little kid needs and never had hosted a party back here" Arizona said
"picture this in ten years" I told her but if we're being honest nothing will change "you guys will be old and the girls will be teenagers" she said "rude oh my gosh" I said laughing then both the girls ran up to us "hey mommy guess what" Lexie said breathing really fast "lex hit the ball and it went over to the neighbors house" riles finished for her "okay maybe we should not do this anymore before someone gets hurt" I told them but they looked at me
"about that mama got hit" lex told us "what where" I freaked out "oh in the eye" Mia said walking up to us "you found our ball" the girls said running inside "haha you just got your ass handed to by your own kids" Arizona said she was laughing I just looked at her then she went inside to go and check up on the girls
"can I see your eye" I asked Mia she uncovered her eye with her hand but was squinting "oh baby the girls hit you pretty fucking hard" I told her making her laugh "sorry I love you" I told her kissing her then we went inside to where we found the girls and Arizona not to be found "she took our kids" I said making her smile at my comment I made
"Arizona" I yelled through the house "I'm in here" she replied back we followed her voice
"oh there you are" I said walking into the twins room "they wanted to show me their doctor stuff" she said "mhm" I said Mia on the other hand was trying to see out of her eye but she couldn't "babe do you want to go to the hospital for help" I asked her "no" she said
"open your eye" I told her she did as I said and her eye was red "how many fingers do I have holding up" I asked her holding up 2 fingers "uh 3 no 2" she said "ok maybe you should go because I don't want you to have anything like seriously wrong with you" I told her then I turned my direction towards Arizona
"I got this you two go" she said playing with the twins "uh lunch is in the fridge if they get hungry and you pretty much know where the rest is" I told her rushing out the door but I came back into give the girls hugs and kisses "behave" I said walking out the room
I'm taking Mia to the hospital because she was the one who decided to let the girls play a game of softball or at least teach them and then she got hit in the eye "this is why you listen to me" I told her "I didn't think they were going to hit me in the eye" she said "let's go" I said opening her door and entering the hospital
"hey why are you guys here" Jackson asked us
"someone got hit in the eye" I said "let me take a look" Jackson said he did his work "it seems fine to me if the girls hit you a little harder it probably would have ruptured a vein in your eye possibly causing you to go blind" he said freaking me and her both out he could tell
"I'm just playing..maybe" he said Mia threw a pen at him "what the fuck" he said "watch your mouth" she told him they have strangely have become friends over the last years which does still shock me but again Mia is a nice person she forgives but she never forgets if that's for sure "alright let's go" I told her
