Amelia's POV
"okay mia i know you said hey amelia leave me alone but as your future wife i can't do that, so i went and got our kids" i told her as i was walking in the room again this time facing the door and on her phone but when i walked in she immediately looked up at me
"how are they" she asked me looking directly at both of them as soon as we walked in "good but they want to know how their mama is feeling" i told her i walked over to her after closing the door and went to sit in front of her chair sitting crisscross with the twins on either side of me
"mama doesn't want to talk" she said giving me a look "well riles thinks you should talk to her mommy" i told her when we have a argument we kinda have to filter the words we say so the twins don't pick it up we use mommy and mama a lot in these situations. "mama is not listening to mommy right now" she told me raising her eyebrows at me "well mama is sleeping in the guest room i guess" i told her now raising my eyebrows "i think riles thinks mommy should be quiet right now" she told me which was kinda hurtful to me
"riles also thinks mama is sleeping without her mommy tonight" i told her as i was taking riles out to just walk around for a little she's still in the newborn stage so she doesn't really do anything besides look at us or cry or sleep. we were in the blue room "will this blue light hurt the girls eyes" i asked mia being serious now "uhh? just to be safe we can leave because we're not taking that risk" she told me grabbing the car seat and taking sleeping lex with her also with me following her behind with riles
we walked out and walked to the nurse station to see arizona and carina talking "carina great! is blue light bad for the girls?" i asked her as soon as i saw her "yes but if the light wasn't shining directly on the girls eyes then they should be fine" she said which gave me relief "how was your first day back!" carina asked me and mia "it was hell actual hell" mia said right away "okay melia" carina asked me "it was very interesting" i told her i look over and now see lex is awake which arizona went straight to her once she realized she is awake now
"babe? where is her car seat" i asked mia cause riles ended up falling asleep in my arms then she came over an took her from my arms to put her in the seat she buckled her all up and bundled her up as well. it's been cold here!
"i got a page i'll see you guys tomorrow? i believe for the girls one month check up" carina told us before leaving after talking to her i look back and see zona and mia with some other girl doctors i seem to not know they're just talking away. they can be very friendly! i walked over to them taking one of the car seats in my hand which caught mia's attention once she knew it was me she let go. i was watching the other doctor interact with mia she was being a little to flirty with my mia which i didn't like especially when i have our kids.
"ok! we're kinda in a rush so can we talk about this later" i said to her "oh who are you" the other doctor both zona and mia could sense i was mad at that comment she just said to me "can we go home now" i asked mia looking at her completely ignoring the other doctor who seems to be a bitch "yes my love, i'll talk to you later" she told me which i'm glad she called me love infront of this doctor or i would have just slapped her in the face
"ok see you tomorrow" the other doctor said as we were walking away Arizona was trying to keep her laughter in "she won't" i said loud so the other girl could hear "melia be nice" mia told me arizona lost it after that "why's that so funny to you" mia asked
"because melia looked like she was about to go full scarlet witch on her" arizona told us both "i was and i will if she talks to you again" i told mia making it very clear "zona are we taking you to our house" mia asked her because we had made it to the front lobby doors
"no? jo is waiting for me so i'll see you guys sometime later? gosh your kids are so cute" Arizona said looking down at them "were you saying bye to us or them" mia asked which made me giggle she loves the twins "them but bye" she told us with a smile then left "you guys have one crazy aunt" mia told them in her baby voice "don't tell them that" i told her lightly smacking her arm.
