"Shehnaaz!!! Actually your dad was saying, you don't need to go on the date with Aaditya." Mom said as she entered the room.

"Whatt???" I asked. My eyes widen in shock.

"You don't have to go on a with Aaditya." Mom repeated.

3 days ago, dad was almost ready to accept the proposal and do my roka on spot if I have not stopped him and now, he suddenly out of no where is telling that I don't need to go on the date with Aditya.

"But what actually happened?? Why this change suddenly??? Tell me the truth." I asked surprised and suspicious.

"Look Sanu!! We are your parents. We will always want the best for you. But at the same time, we also want you to be happy. We were seeing that since this proposal had came for you, you were not happy at all. We know that you didn't like Aaditya at all. So, we have decided not to force you." Mom said calmly.

"Oh my god!! Really mom!!!" I said and hugged her. I couldn't stop tears from coming out of my eyes.

"Hmm" She hugged me back.

"Thank you so much mom. I love you. I thought you and dad didn't understand me at all but I was wrong. Thank you mom. Thank you very much." I said while crying.

"So mom! Can I start looking for my job from tomorrow onwards??" I asked.

"OK baby but now that we have agreed with you, you will also search for job in our city only." Mom said.

"Okay mom!!!" I said and smiled.

After that she left my room to go downstairs.

Oh my god!! I still can't believe this.
Dad and mom are understanding me. Although all of this, happened in merely 3-4 day but it felt like eternity.
Past few days, questioned everything i believed in. Now, It feels like a dream come true. I am feeling like a lot of Weight has been lifted off my Shoulders. Now, I can finally breathe. I let out a sigh of relief.

First thing, I did was to take my laptop out. I couldn't even wait for it to get open. As soon as it got opened. I started uploading my resume on different companies websites. Okay! maybe I am sounding a bit clumsy.

Calm down shehnaaz I said to myself. Atleast sort the companies. Sort them according to the location. Calm down your excitement a little. There is no need to rush things up.

I took a deep breath. And started sorting the companies according to their location and started uploading my resume. It has been almost 2 hours of me uploading my resume. Time passed really quick.

"Shehnnnaaaaaaaazzzzzz!!!!!!!" Mom called me for dinner.

I happily went downstairs. I was literally skipping 1 or 2 stairs. I haven't felt this happy and light in past 4 days. These 4 days felt like 4 months. So much happened in these 4 days.
