My smile wasn't made to make you feel good, but to manipulate you in the most scandalous way

-Kyra Nicole

Christian POV

We finally pulled up to her apartment complex. To be real it looks infested with rats and roaches. Oh yea, and thugs.

"Do you really live here?" I asked her. She rolled her eyes and got out. I got out and caught up with her. I guess that was bad timing for that question.

"Did you come to criticize my living?" She mumbled.

"No. I mean everybody started from something...right?" I said as we entered the raggedy building. As we walked in two robbers ran out holding a garbage sack and a tv. I guess somebody apartment got hit up.

"Just hush and follow me." She lead me up the long stairs to her floor. She grabbed a key from under the old, malnourished welcome mat.

She stuck they key in the hole and began twisting. She pushed the door open and walked in with me following behind her.

"Like I said before-"

"Yea yea yea. Don't breathe or something you said." I fanned her off and sat on her small couch.

"Don't fucking play with me." She said before going to one of the back rooms.

I looked around the small room. It's not as ugly as the building is. It actually describes her.

Strange, quiet, cold, and dark.

I know that's a cruel way to describe somebody, but that girl is exactly every word I said!

"Can I watch tv?" I asked.

"Yea." She said.

I turned the tv on to my favorite show. Don't judge me but I love Mean Girls. I hang with Lori and her friends way too much.

"What the fuck?!" She came in and posted up in front of the tv.

"Move B. They about to expose this chick." I tried to move her but she wouldn't budge.

"You watching Mean Girls?!" She said.

"So.." I shrugged.

"Sissy." She mumbled and sat on the couch.

I scored closer to her and she scooted away.

"Don't get your blood squirted on my furniture!" She threatened.

I held my hands up in surrender and scooted away. She mugged me for a minute and turned towards the tv. I shifted uncomfortably in my seat.

"You're so mean." I said straight up. No girl should ever be this mean for NO reason. I mean if anything you should be happy because you escaped from the adoption agency.

"You don't know me." She simply said.

"I know you're Mya Johnson. That's all I need to know." I said.

"Did you come to insult me and my house?! I mean I've never let anyone come to my house, and the first time I do, the nigga insults me!" She snapped out of nowhere. I mean she was now standing up over me like a big bully.

"You should sit down." I calmly patted the seat next to me. No need to try to trip off the truth.

"Leave." She said.

"Cool." I stood up and walked towards her door.

"I tried to be cool with you." I simply said.

"I don't want to be cool. And you don't want me." She said.

Where did that last part come in at? I never said I wanted her but damn I do.

"If that's what you think." I left and walked down the hall with my head down and my hands in my pocket on this lonely Christmas.
