The night was young.

The girl had drifted to sleep.

Despite her attempts to stay awake, she couldn't.

Nonethess, deep in her heart, she stayed on the path. Grey colored stones were kicked near Sheppard Bridge.

She continued walking towards the haunted Bridge. The girl smiled. Others had fled in terror; she had stayed.

She took a deep breath, as she reached the gold colored ropes. They swayed back and forth in the unnatural breeze; they swayed to a rhythm that chilled her blood.

By Midnight, the howls of dogs were heard. But they were silenced by the eerie atmosphere that descended upon Sheppard Bridge.

She wore red, baggy pajamas. And wore red colored slippers. Her long, black hair glowed; her brown colored eyes also glowed; her face was pale in the moonlight.

Suddenly she heard screaming coming from the Bridge.

It was the body of Emma Fitzhume.

Her face was full of agony.

And she jumped off the Bridge...and hit the hard ground. Blood was everywhere. Then her body vanished into the swirling ether.

                     The girl screamed as well.

And fled Sheppard Bridge...and vowed never, ever to return.
