The ghosts watched Sheppard Bridge Manor.
It was past Midnight.
Yet, despite the late hour, they were prepared to walk down the long, dark hallways. They went through the walls...and hovered over the beds of everyone who stayed there.
They gripped their bloody knives in their translucent hands...eager to attack anyone who got in their way.
And, after the screaming disturbed the night, everyone who dwelled at Sheppard Bridge Manor fled the place in terror...until their nerves were so frayed that noone stayed the night...as a cold gust of wind blew...and all of the lights went out...and every part of the Manor was in total darkness.
