Wellston Private High School:

Girls Dorm, 11:40 PM

-------------------------------------------------------

Outside Elaine's Room:

"Okay, Elaine should be coming to the door soon I just texted her" Isen claimed.

"Sounds good, not sure how we're gonna convince her though, we don't exactly have the best history" John recalled.

"I here footsteps... Elaine, open up, I'm here" Isen spoke through the door to hail Elaine.

"You didn't warn her that I would be with you!?" John whisper shouted.

"She wouldn't have accepted my coming over if I did!" Isen defended himself.

"Once a rat, always a rat... I should step to the side so she doesn't slam the door in our faces and then we have to force our ways in" John exclaimed.

"Good idea" Isen agreed.

-------------------------------------------------------

Meanwhile

'Why would Isen need a healer at this hour? Why would he come alone too, somethings not adding up here' Elaine thought to herself.

'Whatever, I might as well hear him out since he came to me and I didn't need to change clothes to leave and meet him elsewhere' Elaine reasoned with herself.

----------------------------------------------------------

Upon opening the door after hearing Isens call to her, Elaine was shocked to see that Isen was still able to walk in the state that he was in. Not only was he minorly bleeding in some areas, but he looked like he took up a part time job fighting fires and saving giant cats from trees by the evident slash marks over his body. Even more concerning was that Isen was seemingly holding himself up in the crevice of the doorway now as he was beginning to hobble in. Just as Elaine was closing the door behind her, now watching Isen who had fully entered the dorm and was looking for a place to sit, a hand slid in last second blocking its full closure.

Alarmed, Elaine began attempting to force the door closed as the person who the hand belonged to did not show themselves yet. To her surprise, Isen sat silent watching the charade as one single hand was holding off Elaine's violent tugs to try and slam the door shut on it.

Giving up on her futile attempts to close the door, Elaine decided to let the door open and run to the kitchenette and grab a frying pan as her last attempt at defending herself. Now wielding a cast iron weapon, she marched towards the door and swung at the hand, but right before impact it retracted and John stepped out from the safety of the wall he was next too. To Isen's surprise this drew and even more hostile reaction from Elaine as she now attempted to swing at John himself!

"What are you doing here! Did you do this to Isen, and now you're here to finish the job by removing the healer from the equation!" Elaine accused John.

As John was still frantically evading the rapid and violent swings of the pan, Isen staggered over to behind Elaine and grabbed her wrist to stop the next wave of attacks.

"Elaine, John is with me, I couldn't tell you because I was afraid you would have the exact reaction you are having now, and as you can see, I'm not in great condition!" Isen expressed.

"God Isen, you're such a rat!" Elaine shouted.

"Why am I now the group rat, sorry I'm just too good at my job!" Isen retorted.

"Whatever, are you going to let me in or what, we have some things to discuss and I need to get a move on if we want this to be done tonight" John expressed with urgency.
