Loud whoops could be heard throughout the entire forest, many footsteps padding very heavily against the mud on the ground, making occasional splashes from the puddles that had been made in the mud. Gunshots and explosions could be heard in the distance at the camp with the grounders and the sky people, deep cries from the grounders adding to the loud sounds. If anyone was to come by, they'd hear the sounds possibly a mile away from where they could possibly be.

The reapers were fast as they chased after three figures in front of them. Finn and Y/n were a bit in front of Lincoln as they speeded in the direction of their camp. The three were just a bit faster so they wouldn't be caught from the reapers, knowing what would exactly happen to them after they encountered them the first time. Stopping right out front of the camp, the three looked up, seeing all the grounders attention on them as the reapers closed up behind them, eyes trained on their prey.

As quick as they could, they rushed to the side, hearing the whoops of the reapers stop as their attention no doubt went to the grounders. As they dispersed from Lincoln, the teenagers made their way through one of the small tunnels and into the camp just as the whoops and cries from the reapers and the grounders could be heard as they began to attack each other. Half the camp was empty as some of the gunners were still in positions while some were in the dropship. Y/n's gaze lands on her sister who looked to her before rushing over, the two sharing a giant and tight hug, holding each other tightly.

"What did you guys do?" Clarke asks.

"Finn kicked the hornet's nest." Y/n replies.

"You guys brought the reapers?" Clarke concludes in question.

Y/n shrugs. "We just bought us some time."

"How's Raven?" Finn questions as he steps forward, concerned for his best friend.

Clarke shakes her head. "She's not good. And the rockets aren't ready yet. Jasper's working on them now."

"Jasper?" Finn repeats in question, receiving a nod. "What's plan B?"

"Jasper was plan B." Clarke tells them.

Quickly, the three made their way inside the dropship where Clarke and Y/n got everything ready. Raven laid on the floor, passed out from all the pain that was striking her body. Jasper was seen below the dropship as the fighting could be heard outside. Both Finn and Y/n watched as Clarke stuck a needle into Raven when they had gotten the medicine ready just as Miller was rushing in, clutching his injured shoulder.

"Clarke, Y/n, they're taking down the gate." Miller announces.

Jasper pops his head up from the hole that was opened from the floor. "Good. Because I did it... I think."

"I'm closing that door." Miller informs, pointing at the dropship door.

"Wait!" Y/n calls out, standing up. "We've still got people out there. Bellamy's not back yet."

Both Finn and Clarke followed her close behind as she exited the dropship, revealing the grounders were now inside their camp. Teenagers were throwing grenades to the grounders who had finally stepped into their camp, explosions happening all around as Y/n called out for their people to get inside the dropship which a few did as told when they ran out of bullets from their guns.

Just as arrows were shot in their direction, Finn pulled the Griffin twins down behind some stacked bags that had been piled up together earlier in the day before they were attacked. Miller stood on the ramp of the dropship, pulling the trigger a few times on the gun he had as he shot at the grounders that were attacking many teenagers in front of them. The teenagers behind the piled bags gazes landed on the grounder they learned his name was Tristan.

The tall and muscular grounder was swinging the machete-like sword he had in his tight grip at the teenagers that got in his way, not giving a single care he was killing teenagers whose families were most likely hoping that their child was still alive and well. Finn looks to his left, watching as a familiar face comes out from the bushes, revealing what the camp looked like to the third leader of the three.

"There he is!" Finn exclaims, pointing at Bellamy.

"He's never gonna make it. Bellamy, run!" Clarke shouts.

Hearing her shout his name, Bellamy reaches down and grabs a rifle from the ground, rushing to Tristan. The Blake boy pulls the trigger, but he tensed when a click was heard instead of a bang. Tristan punched the boy in the face, grabbing ahold of the back of his jacket as he raised his knee and kneed him in the gut, all while Finn and the Griffin twins watched with wide eyes full of fear.

"He's killing him." Y/n points out.

Seeing a boy running by them, Finn grabs ahold of the gun in his hand, running forward as he shot at Tristan. Clarke immediately grabbed her sister's hand when she went to run forward while Miller stopped beside them as they watched Finn and Tristan both fall to the ground. Miller was quick to try and get them into the dropship before going in himself. Clarke stood, holding out her hand for her sister to take.

However, Y/n glanced at her hand before looking at Finn who looked at her with wide eyes. The two stared at each other as the Collins boy gave her a nod, silently telling her he'd be okay. All he cared about was her getting into the dropship. Seeing a grounder grab ahold of him, they broke eye contact as he was thrown to the ground, rolling on the mud. Clarke impatiently waited for her sister to join her, and just when she was about to grab ahold of her twin's arm...

She ran.

A scream of protest left past Clarke's lips as Y/n ran towards the grounder that was about to attack Finn. Miller had to rush to the blonde and pull her into the dropship with him as more grounders began piling into the camp even more. A large stick in hand that she grabbed from the ground, Y/n swung and the wood stick hit the grounder in the head, not doing much but it made him stumble a bit.

Finn's eyes widen when he saw her there, while the girl he loved stared at the grounder with wide eyes as he slowly turned to her. The Griffin girl felt relief upon hearing the dropship door fully closed, seeing it in the corner of her eye. The grounder rose his fist and nailed it right in the girl's face, sending her down to the ground from how strong the punch was, blood dripping from her nose, adding to the mud, dirt, sweat and the blood that was already there from her previous cuts that decorated her face.

As Y/n's face met the mud beneath her, she felt her vision begin to blur. And right before it went dark, she saw Finn lunge at the grounder.

And then it was dark.
